I hope they give me the option to use Classic or GCN controllers for when I get sick of pointing at my screen during late night online games. (Like I often do with CoD, I love IR... It's just tiring)
Depends on how you like to play. The Wii has been pretty lacking in FPSes though, so I can't really argue on quantity/quality. 360 has us both beat though, every other game on that system is an FPS.
hmmmm....If I Have the Money than More Than Likely..., I Was Dissapointed by Red Steel, but Metroid Prime 3 gave Me Exactly What I Wanted (albeit somewhat gimmicky at times)
If The Conduit Keeps What It Promises, than It Shall Be a Classic
I think that the Wii has the potential to be the best FPS console, it just isnt exhausted as much as on other consoles because of the more family-orientated target group. Playing shooters with the Wii Pointer is just a hell lot of fun , I dont know why shooters always need to have High-End Graphics.
Does anyone know if the framerate is going to be a constant 60 or 30? 30fps on COD:W@W really threw me off for awhile. Framerate dips are the reason I never bought Quantum of Solace.
SInce The Conduit is really pushing the Wii, I'll still get it even if it is a constant 30fps. But really hoping we go real-time with this.
I don't think shooters ALWAYS need to have top-end graphics, but I do think that in this day and age, online multiplayer capability is a MUST. I mean, these days, FPS titles for 360 and PS3 don't even need to include a stellar campaign in order to move units, they just need kick ass multiplayer. In any case, I'm leaning towards purchasing The Conduit, I won't lie, it looks badass. However, I am sketchy about it, I was totally unmoved by Onslaught and, of course, Red Steel.
If the controls are just as good or better than Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, then I am definitely getting The Conduit. I've been needing to branch out on Wii games anyway, almost everything I own are Nintendo's releases. (Except Okami)
Wii: 6882-4334-4721-0727 --- PSN: OrangeGouf --- XBL: Orange Gouf
Only if multiplayer runs smoothly, it has yet to be proven to perform properly in the real world on Nintendo's servers. With a single player campaign of 8 hours, this game is only a RENT if multiplayer is an epic fail like most of Nintendo's online games.
[21:14] pixelman: I blame fheblackdragon
[21:15] pixelman: That's not an f by the way, it's a fancy t.
[21:15] Objection: Tales of Graces "fancy t"
[21:15] Objection: Tinal Tantasy
[21:15] theblackdragon: lol OB
[21:15] pixelman: OB knows what he's asking about.
The GCN version of Strikers is the better title in every way, I think. I didn't like the supposed improvements, and the online was a huge bust (though in its defense, it was the second title online for Wii).
