Just curious because I'm a huge Futurama fan and I want to get the game but only have a GameCube, and for some odd reason on the GameCube the game only came out in Europe but I'm American. Is there anyway I can play it without getting a European GameCube? Still beyond me why they did that... considering its an American show and made by Americans and probably has most its fans here in America.

Yes if you get a GameCube freeloader. The newer versions work on the Wii (despite what was said about an update disabling it, mine still works fine and my console is up to date with no modifications). I have a UK Wii and play both US and Japanese GameCube games with no problem.

Don't some Japanese games have glitched text on a non-Japanese Cube (due to missing BIOS fonts)? Would that still apply to the Wii?
(the one I know of is Nintendo Puzzle Collection. I'd like that if I found a non-expensive copy. :) )

Nice question. I have an US Wii, can i play import GC games on it?

Ojalá se te acabe la mirada constante, la palabra precisa, la sonrisa perfecta. Ojalá pase algo que te borre de pronto, una luz cegadora, un disparo de nieve.

Not the ones that I have. Might be the case with some, though. I mostly play Japanese Sonic Gems collection on my Wii, the text in the game is all fine and it saves on a memory card with all my other saves. The only place I see the glitched text is in the memory card manager. For those with a US Wii, yes, just get a US GameCube freeloader disc - there's one for each region.

While we're at it, can I play japanese 3DS games on my american 3DS? I need to know because my big bro found a store in NYC that sells japanese imported nintendo games!

Nope. The 3DS is region locked so you will have to buy a Japanese 3DS to play Japanese games.
