This is an idea I throw up a few days ago, but the crew haven't made a decision yet (or haven't read it yet). So I just post it in the forum for the time being. Since the demo's ruined the Top 20 WiiWare list, I thought it was a nice idea to do a list of Wii titles. So which game got sold the most? The list below is based on GfK Holland Marketing Services.

Two newcomers, Family Game Night 2 which just came out the 26-11 and Guitar Hero 5 (which re-entered the list).

With two new releases, we say goodbye to:

• Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (8 last week)
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex (10 last week)

New Super Mario Bros claims the top spot and with five spots from 6 to 1, it's our biggest climber. How come it was sixth last week? Because it came out on 20-11 in Europe and the list from last week is compiled at 21-11. So a sixth spot last week with only two days out is pretty nice. Biggest dropper is Wii Fit with eight spots from 2 to 10.

But how are Wii Games doing in the list with all the other consoles/handhelds and the PC? New Super Mario Bros takes the topspot there too as a newcomer. So it's above Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3/XBOX360/PC and Assassin's Creed 2 on the PS3/XBOX360. Other Wii titles on the list are Mario & Sonic op de Olympische Winterspelen, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus (all in the lower part of the list). Wii Fit drops hard here too and leaves the list.

from Vooks, I can't be bothered finding the previous week positions but I have included the ups and downs as they have on their site. Big story, Mario Kart Wii re-entered the charts and made #4, Cricket and New SMB Wii keep selling well.

The rest of the list is almost at a stand still. Only Wii Fit Plus and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games exchange a spot.

In the all-platforms list, the Wii dominates again. New Super Mario Bros is still going strong with the number one spot above Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3/XBOX360) for it's third week at the top and in the list. The spot exchange in the Wii List is also noticable in all-platforms list with Wii Fit Plus at 4 and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games at 5. Mario Kart Wii also climbs one spot to number 9 and is sandwiched between Assassin's Creed (PS3/XBOX360). Wii Sports Resort stays at number 7.

We have two new ones in the list. U-Sing and Band Hero. Both came out around the same time (15 and 20 November). Because of this, Fifa 10 (8 last week) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex (10 last week) has left the list.

No major climbers or droppers. Guitar Hero is the biggest climber with two spots from 9 to 7.

The all gaming platforms list is still dominated by the Wii with five games of the 10. New Super Mario Bros is still number 1, above the console Modern Warfare 2 at the second and third spot. At four we see Wii Fit Plus, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games drops two spots from 7 to 5, Mario Kart climbs one spot rfom 9 to 8 while Wii Sport Resort drops to spots from 7 to 9.

The Wii is even more dominating in the all platforms list this week. New Super Mario Bros is six weeks in the list and for the sixth week at the top. But now, Mario & Sonic at The Olympic winter Games climbs a spot to number 3, bumping the Xbox version of Call of Duty: Mordern Warfare 2 to number 4. Mario Kart is still number 5, Wii Sports Resort climbs two spots from 9 to 7. Only Wii Fit Plus is dropping. Four spots from 6 to 10.

Two new games. The succes of the movie Avatar probably have something to do with the return of the game in the list. A strange newcomer is Super Mario Galaxy. Maybe the new people for which New Super Mario Bros is there first Mario game, are curious about the other Mario games. This might also explain Mario Party 8's return to the list.

Two games re-entered the list. Wii Fit Plus comes out of nowhere and reaches the third spot. James Cameron's Avatar The Game also returns to number six. This also means that two games have to go. Mario Party 8 (9 last week) and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers (10 last week).

Only one climber, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games with one spot from 3 to 2. There are enough droppers though. The biggest dropper is Let's Party with four spots from 4 to 8. A curious dropper is Endless Ocean 2 with two spots from 8 to 10. I expected this game to do very well. It's still in the list though.

Wii still dominates the top 5 of the all-platforms-list. At number one, New Super Mario Bros is still going very strong. No for a huge shock in the all-platforms-list. Last week there were four Wii game in the list, all in the top 5 with New Super Mario Bros at the top for it's 13th week in a row. Now, all four games are out of the list. The bad guys: Heavy Rain at number 1, Battlefield: Bad Company at 2, 3 and 4 (PS3, PC and XBOX36), Napoleon: Total War (PC) at 6, Assassin's Creed II (PC) at 7 and the re-entry of both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC) and Fifa 10 (PS3) at 9 and 10. So for the first time in a very, very, very long time. There is no Wii game in the all-platforms-list. Especially the sudden drop of New Super Mario Bros after it dominate the list for 13 weeks is very shocking.

Appearently they completely forget the Wii. The list of 6-3 is the same, but the all-platforms list changes a lot and the Wii still have three spots in the top 10. New Super Mario Bros is not number one anymore (Heavy Rain is enters the list a number 1). Wii Fit Plus drops five spots (thanks to Heavy Rain and three iterations of Battlefield: Bad Company 2) from 2 to 7. The same for Mario Kart with three spots from 5 to 8.

So because of the new games, the Wii games dropped hard (Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games even dropped of the list from the fourth position). But thankfully, it wasn't as dramatic as I though last Monday.

Only one new game, the re-entry of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex. This pushes EA Sports Active out of the list (5 last week).

No droppers this weeks, we have four climbers but the biggest is James Cameron's Avater: The Game with two spots from 10 to 8.

In the all-platforms list, more trouble for Wii games. After Heavy Rain shoves New Super Mario Bros from the number 1 spot to number 2, it drops heavy now with four spots to number 6, Wii Fit Plus remains at number 7 but Mario Kart falls of the list completely. The biggest trouble makers, Final Fantasy XIII. The PS3 version is number one, the Xbox360 is number 5 and between them, there are the three Battlefield: Bad Company 2 versions. Very curious is that Heavy Rain, last weeks number 1, has dropped 7 spots to number 8, even below the two remaining Wii games.

Two new games in the list. Formula 1 2009 re-enters at 9 probably because of the start of the season. Super Mario Galaxy enters the list at 10. Just Dance (7 last week) and Karaoke Revolution (9 last week) fall victim and leave the list.

Small change in the top 3. Mario Kart and Wii Fit Plus exchanges spots. Biggest climber is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex with two spots from 10 to 8. Apart from Wii Fit Plus, no other droppers this week.

In the all-platforms-list, there is only one Wii game remaining. New games like God of War 3 (enters at 2) and Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight (enters at 6) pushes Wii Fit Plus off the list. The remaining Wii game is a climber though. New Super Mario Bros climbs three spots from 6 to 3. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) is still number one. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Xbox360/PS3) both dropped out of the top 3 and Heavy Rain is barely hanging on at 10.
