So my Wii just started flashing blue and i had a message to update. I have updated to Version 4.1 but can see no noticeable changes. Does anyone have any idea what is included in this update?

Hmm, after a little research it appears it is just a "behind the scenes fix", but apparently it removes altered save files so it looks like its just another attack on homebrew.

'removing altered save files' just means that their anti-Twilight Hack modifications are still fully in effect from 4.0. I'm pretty sure Bannerbomb doesn't rely on that to work.

It just says "behind the scenes stuff to make overall performance run more smoothly". So to answer your question (as nintendo already did) there's no noticeable changes or new look/features. Just small fixes. Sorry but we can hope for wii menu 5.0

The Wii tended to mess up on some people if they played certain games. It only happened when they went back to menu. It freezes up for some folks. Possibility to also be a Super FX upgrade for VC.

Cool, hopefully that means less of the occasional lag in starting up games I see from time to time.
I get the same lag sometimes when loading a game, then I realise and wake the wii-mote and it starts loading. Hope this fixes that I'll know later. Every time I get that letter from Nintendo I pray it's something cool, and again, it wasn't. Oh well, next time.
How do all you Homebrew scums folk deal with these? Nevermind, looked up and got my answer.
