Used to have it on top, but with the new flat screen it fits better on the bottom. I haven't noticed a difference as far as responsive-ness or anything though.

Ya, as long as you go in to your settings and change it to which ever way you are using it there shouldn't be a difference.

I put it on the top of my flatscreen because the bottom of it curves off a bit, which would make it hard to put there.
I'm pretty okay.

Under, but quite a way below and infront of the screen. My TV has buttons across the top, so can't put it there, and a rounded base, so can't put it there either. But I don't have any problems using the Wiimote.

over. the TV is on top of a table, and where i sit while playing the Wii is below-ish the table... if it was under the TV, it wouldn't be able to register the wiimote at that angle.

Neither. My sensor bar is in the opposite corner of my bedroom to my TV. My bed is in the middle of my room, my TV is to the left of me, and my sensor bar is on a table on the right. I like to lie in bed and play my Wii comfortably without having to cross my chest with my arm.
If you're used to pointing at the TV to control the cursor, this would sound harder but its not really not.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

On top of the TV, where my four year old is less likely to mess with it.

Mines on tops since one I have an regular old non flat screen non HD TV thats I got in 2002, so its wide enough to put stuff on top of it. Plus my anime collection is on the shelf under my tv so there's no room for it to go there.
