First time posting here so if I posted in wrong place please let me know..
I recently bought a Wii at a yard sale for $5 that came with everything,, brought it home and somebody I guess thought it was broke and took off the faceplate. not having a tri-wing I guess they broke off the holes for the screws and put it back on over the screws.. this was not letting the power, eject, reset, sync button not make contact with the actual buttons.. so I took them out and did it right... and it worked flawlessly played a game, and even left it on for about 5 or 6 hours and it didn't shut down, or over heat or anything... However, the power light has no light what so ever. no green, no yellow, no red.. the blue light on the disc tray still glows though when I got a message about my daily history.. the inside wires are plugged in and doesn't seem damaged.. Is there an easy fix to this. bought this to flip. only $5 in and around here I can sell it for like $50-$70...

There is no light because WiiConnect24 is discontinued so you won't get any messages through the disk light. Oh and it only turns blue, no other colors.

Im not talking about the disk tray light. Im talking about the actual power light.
Green is on
Yellow is standby
Red is Off
or whatever. there is nothing there. Its like the machine is unplugged, no light what so ever..
Every Google search comes up as "Wii wont turn on" when I type in "no power light".. It comes and runs great...
I just wanted to know if I can fix that since around here you can easily find a buyer for a Wii for like $60-$70 especially since I have a box for it..

Well, you could go into it and replace the LED...but otherwise you could just get a new Wii, they aren't too expensive nowadays.
