The current firmware in my Wii is 4.3 but when ever I try to access Shop or Netflix channel it says that there is a system update available so I should update my system before proceeding.
Isn't 4.3 latest version so why is it asking me to update?

The same happened to me a few days ago while trying to play Metroid: Other M. The weirdness is that I have also the latest 4.3 firmware and it's not the first time I play Other M on that system. Anyhow, I ended updating it as prompted and I got v4.3... with the Everybody votes and Today and Tomorrow channels installed. And Other M played just fine. Go figure.
