So this guy says "do you want to hold on to the Wii for a week", so I say "yeah", but I don't have a TV! Now I have this Nintendo Wii, but only PC flat-screens to play it on... what do I need? Is there some kind of Wii to VGA adapter making it possible to play with a Wii on a computer screen? It would be great to know so that I might be able to find one and get a go on this Wii before the week is out!

Unfortunately, there's no Wii-VGA cable that I know of. You'd need a convertor box to run the Wii output cable into that converts it to VGA, and those go for like $100+ as far as I see -- not exactly worth it for a week. You'd be better off trying to find a small TV someone's not using that you could borrow, probably!

I have one that goes from the tv signal to usb. It just plugs into my computer (it also makes it so I can record anything from my tv including games onto my computer) but it ran me $30 on ebay. It took a week to get here. Sorry to say but you would be best off buying a cheap 13" tv from your local wal-mart/target/best buy and playing it on that.
edit- you can record but you cant play games from it. there is a 1 1/2 second processing delay on component to usb adapters. Just figured I would mention that before you went and bought one

Ah ha! Thank you, that seems to be just what I'm looking for, and I managed to find one for £4.99 on eBay, so hopefully by Wednesday I shall be Wii-enabled. Ooh I think I'll quickly order myself a copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution too. LoL!

Ah ha! I've got it sussed...! I have found an empty lecture room with an overhead digital projector, I'm gonna go and have a go at wiring this Wii in to it so that I can play Super Mario Kart on the wall! Should be good

Nice, that is the best way to play Wii. I have snuck mine in after work plenty of times.

pokemon battle revolution...really?? games awful to me

I know loads of Pokémon trainers so it only makes sense, especially for the 2 on 2 (4up) DS battles.

In the meantime I have ordered 'Bully', that'a a fairly good Rockstar game init?!! (GTA for kids?!?)
