how do you get a friend code on animal crossing city folk it says i dont have one yet?

You have to take a game online to get a friend code. I don't have Animal Crossing, so I don't specifically know how that one works, but unless the game has connected online in some way, it hasn't yet generated a friend code for you.

i have already set up wii connect 24 and have gotten free stuff from nintendo like the DSi couch but it still says i dont have a friend code maybe some else can anser my question

@geek-master: according to the guides at GameFAQs, you need to talk to someone named 'Copper' at the Town Gate. he or she is the one who'll give you your friend code.
