It would help if people could state where they are from also. I'm from Australia, so I guess I would get better connections with fellow aussies. Just a suggestion.
Good point; the Wii messenger sadly has no kind of timestamp, so if I get a message from someone asking me if I'm interested in playing a game I have no clue when it was written or even what timezone it is!
Yeah, the Wii needs timestamps badly. I do like that I can see that I got a message while in standby though... But from messaging back and forth with my GF, I've realized there's a pretty hard lag in the system, even 30 miles away with NOA Redmond, WA in between us! Like at least 3 minutes. I can't imagine how bad that is if say, I tried to Wii message you.

I'd love to play you in Hunters because that is the best shooter out there, but along with other problems, the game was killing my wrist so I had to get rid of it. I was seriously in pain for a week or two (probably not all from the game; typing a lot, playing guitar, etc. didn't help either). As fun as it is, it's not worth carpal tunnel.
I don't remember there being any widely different options. Having to hold the entire system in one hand meant wrapping my left hand around it in an awkward fashion to both support the system and reach the shoulder button. I tried playing with it lying on the table, but it was hard to reach the shoulder button.
But my wrists just don't naturally put up with much stress. If I'm not playing games in my free time, I'm probably typing or wrapping my hand around the neck of a musical instrument of some sort (my latest, a balalaika, is perhaps the most painful yet -- but so cool ). So I'm constantly wearing them out when I probably shouldn't be.
Not only that, but I could never seem to find people online after other online games were out, and the people I would find would just stay in alt form all game, which annoyed the heck out of me. If I ever get a DSi, maybe I'll give it a shot again.
