With a decent list of titles that will be available shortly after its launch (June 8, 2009 in the US), MotionPlus is on its way. What title will you be picking up first to enjoy this much awaited feature?
Some facts/notes to help you decide if you haven't already (they are mostly specific to US buyers... but feel free to add notes of your own if you live outside the US).
Virtua Tennis 2009 (Sega) / June 2, 2009 - $10USD cheaper than Grand Slam Tennis. No MotionPlus bundle available. Will be available when MotionPlus is launched. Misc. party games. Online play.
Grand Slam Tennis (EA) / June 16, 2009 - EA knows their sports games, but this is their first go at tennis. MotionPlus bundle available except in the US. Launches alongside Tiger Woods 2010. Misc. party games. Online play.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2010 (EA) / June 16, 2009 - MotionPlus bundle available for an additional $10USD, saving you $10USD as opposed to purchasing the game and MotionPlus separately. Online play. Forecast Channel compatible. Disc golf!
Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo) / July 26, 2009 - Comes bundled with MotionPlus for $50USD. Probably the best deal, but comes out well over a month after the other three titles. 10 different games to play, but details are still pretty sparse unfortunately.
So what do you think you will be picking up? My money will be put down on Tiger Woods 2010. I will likely get Wii Sports Resort sometime after (since I'll want two M+ so both of my remotes can have one).

I actually hate golf in real life, but it's fun on Wii Sports still, so I'll have to check out Tiger. I'm disappointed that the US won't be getting a tennis bundle, but at least this let's me choose the tennis game based on which one I like rather than which has a bundle. I'll probably get one of the tennis games and Resort. Resort's current line-up of games don't seem particularly interesting except maybe fencing, but I'm assuming there will be more added, and it'll be worth it for the second Motion+ I'll get out of it. The worst part will be waiting over a week to be able to play tennis two-player once I get a M+ with Resort.
By the way, I'm confused about your comments on VT09. Does the game launch with M+? It's two weeks ahead of the first bundle, so that seems strange.
I'm really excited about the potential of this device. It's annoying that this wasn't built in from the get-go of the system and now we have to pay quite a bit if we want four controllers with the Plus, but oh well. I'll probably be satisfied with just two Pluses for awhile, though that unfortunately means no tennis doubles. Wii Sports was fun for way too long considering how simple the games are, so I'm hoping Resort and these others have the same kind of longevity.
Not a fan of sports games, so I'm guessing I wont be buying the wmp early on, since the only wmp games I'm aware of are sports titles, I'm sure The conduit has an optional wmp control scheme, but I probably wouldn't buy it just for that, looks like I might have to wait until Red Steel 2 unless some other non sports game is released before that.
Is Red Steel 2 confirmed to use Motion+? That could be good; the No More Heroes sequel also seems like it could be a good fit. Both are games I passed on because they sounded like they had issues, but their sequels both could be titles I'd be interested in picking up.
Well according to wikipedia it will be released in late 2009, and will use wmp as well has having online play, though wikipedia isn't always 100% accurate to say the least, I think it would make sense to use wmp for that game maybe E3 will reveal a bit more about it.
I'll probably hold out for reviews of Resort...the games sound very cute, but I thought Wii Sports was the most boring game ever so I'm wondering if this will be the same (or at least, the 2nd most boring game ever).
Tiger Woods does sound really cool, but I'm just not into golf. Or tennis. Like with the balance board, they need to expand their offering of games for the peripheral, it's just too limited. At least they have more than ONE game that works with WMP from the get-go, unlike the balance board which had Wii Fit only for 6 months and still doesn't have a lot of games that use it.
Probably Wii Sports Resort for the fencing. I don't think I can justify buying one of the other sports games. I'm going to be out of the country next year, and I think my brother will take the wii to school. He loves golf, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the Tiger Woods bundle. Then we'd be all set with two for now.
P.S. That's so cool that it reads the weather from the forecast channel...I wonder if it takes it from where you are, or it actually takes the weather from the actual course locations. Not a golf fan, but I have to give props for that neat feature!
