Just wondering if anyone has heard about The Grinder, High Voltage's FPS. Are they just putting it on the back burner until the get Conduit 2 out or is dead forever?

That game looked almost done when I saw it last. Looked very Left4Dead Wii style.

Maybe they're saving it for the 3DS <3

Hallowe'en this year, apparently!

The game is still in production and the Wii will get the best version (It is still a first-person shooter as opposed to a brawler a la PS3/360), so I don't have a problem with it going multi-platform since the Wii looks to be the superior version.

I haven't heard any recent news regarding it, thought, except that it still has no publisher. This looks to be one of the few good Wii titles this year.

Any other news on this game? One can only hope. A part of me wanted to hear Reggie say in Nintendo Direct: "...and finally in Wii news along with Pikmin 2, the Wii fan favorite 'The Grinder' is coming out this holiday!" but sadly I did not hear this

The Grinder is the new Sadness and Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

And like those two projects, it would've turned out to be a horrible, disappointing game anyways.

It's probably being redeveloped for the Wii U now. It may even turn into a different game.

I was informed somewhere a longtime ago that the developer has since fallen under and no longer exists. I haven't seen anything that would indicate another developer has taken the wheel either. I'm sorry, but I really don't believe, "The Grinder," will ever see the light of day guys.

Last I heard, they split it into two different genres/games. The Wii version was still the poor man's Left 4 Dead clone and the PS3/360 looked like a ripoff of Hunter the Reckoning (although much better than the Wii FPS version in my opinion).

Sure? I've seen that they have been developing Kids games like Nickelodeon Dance and much more.

@BenjaminRosa, I thought some other developer was producing it, but I guess I was wrong. Why hasn't anyone contacted High Voltage Games, and inquired about, "The Grinder" yet?

I also think High Voltage Software had a hand in Star Wars Kinect.

I hope someone contacts High Voltage to see what is happening. Sadly I heard they had to lay some people off but I think and hope they are still around. I for one loved The Conduit.

Well Zombie U looks much better.

I doubt they have the resources to continue a project like that given their lack of success.
