Topic: What happened to all the NPC games?

I haven't heard any reports of any more NPC games coming out. Anyone heard anything?

Isn't the Metroid game supposed to be the last?

I'd rather see sequels than remakes, to be honest.

They're coming, don't worry. There are 7 games total, and by mid-2010, they'll most definitely be done.

Mario Power Tennis - Released March 09
Pikmin - Released March 09
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat - Released May 09
Metroid Prime 1 - Releasing as "Metroid Prime Trilogy" on August 09
Metroid Prime 2 - Releasing as "Metroid Prime Trilogy" on August 09
Pikmin 2 - Definitely will come within the next year, if Pikmin 3 is to come out in 2010
Chibi-Robo - The GCN original sold well, so I have to believe this game will come out either this fall to fill the line up or early next year

@Kizzi I've not heard of any more of em being announced. They've sold only so good, and the teams are working on other things now.

@Kidpit Never heard of that. SFArmada sold poorly enough on GCN that Nintendo probably wouldn't bring it to Wii. Furthermore, it was developed by Namco, and they really aren't focusing on NPC like Nintendo is. I'd say it isn't in development.

I certainly hope Chibi Robo gets localised; if not I guess I'll have to import it. I'd really like to see an NPC Mr. Driller Drill Land, just so I could play the best Mr. Driller game ever without hooking up a GC controller/memory card -- I don't even care if it's localised, just make it with Wii Controls Namco!

We can only hope the NPCs are not living up to expectations so Nintendo finds an alternative route for making money.

Ha, while everyone was playing with there shiny new 360, I was playing Chibi-Robo. A great game that so many missed, cos apparently the Cube was dead (more like retailers killed it). I hope Chibi Robo gets a PAL release as its the one game in that list (besides Pikmin) that really really deserves NPC. I'm just gonna assume the Prime Trilogy gets a PAL release, if it doesn't, i will cry.
