Does anyone know what games (either Wii or Wii U) that the mayflash adapter will work with? I am just wondering what games I can use a gamecube controller for on the Wii or Wii u?
Is it basically just whenever a classic controller can be used?

Yes, all those unofficial Wii/GC adapters only work with games that support the Wii Classic controller and they drain the Wii Remote's battery life extremely fast. If you want proper compatibility, wait for the official GC adapter which is released on the same day as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
I can't say battery life matters to me really. I have tons of rechargeable batteries. I was told that the Wii U adapter for Smash will probably not work for Wii Games and Wii VC games.
