It stings selling my entire RE collection ( AGAIN, did it once for PS2 ) but my favorite RE2 is available on PSN so it doesn't matter much as I could just as easily DL it.

I'm pretty sure that would be beyond plenty for buying a 120GB PS3. But it would be sad losing ANOTHER Wii owner that actually knows and cares about the games being made for it.

Well, I guess it depends where you would sell it. If you were going to sell it on Ebay or another auction site it depends on whether you sell it as a bundle or piece by piece. It would take more effort, but it should bring in more than as a lot.
If you were looking to trade it at Gamestop (or something similar) you probably will wind up getting screwed.

Thanks for all the replies, made an add now, It will give me enough for a 120GB slim, 1 game and a HDMI cable. I'll settle for that.
@Adam Yeah, most of the triple A games I borrowed from my mom, the mario, zelda games and so on. So I never got around to buying them myself
Here's the complete list: 4000SEK, not really sure how that translates into USD. But I don't think there should be any problems.

Dude keep your Wii, i mean after Reggie sad that there won't be any new Nintendo Console that means Wii is also on a 10 Year Life span, but if you really want a PS3 get a job and earn money it's not only a better choice but you will have no regrets.

How the heck does that mean that the mean Wii is on a 10 year life span? It is only in its 3rd year, the second it was released the hardware was outdated, and the competition is coming out with motion controls of their own. There is no way it will last 10 years. A few more, yes, but 10? No Nintendo console has ever lasted 10 years.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I don't know how well MMA pays our boy Firks, but to assume he's got no job or not enough money to buy a PS3 is bit offensive. Just because someone doesn't want to keep a depreciating and underused asset, doesn't mean he's not well-heeled. In fact, there are some very wealthy, very savvy individuals that would respect the sound financial judgement in liquidating such an asset in favour of one more useful and desireable to the investor.

Well if the Rumored Wii HD is true then Sony and Microsoft will get another Competitor in the HD format and most likely Wii will also have a hard-drive how much memory i don't know, also your History is a bit of even do NES had a successor in 1991 it lasted till 1995 so NES is and so far the only Nintendo Console to last a decade (plus it's Japanese counterpart aka the famicom was released in 1983), plus some Nintendo handheld lasted a decade or more, Game Watch 1980-1991, Gameboy from 1989-2003, Game Boy Advance 2001-2008 (so far the only one didn't last as long as a decade but it was succeed by the more popular DS so no biggie in my opinion).

It was just a suggestion but to be honest i can't see the benefit of selling something that in the future would gain collectors value i for one have everything i got (from video game console market anyway) that i still keep not just becuase it's a collector's value but remind myself how good it was back in the day. However if he/she wants to sell it go right ahead i have noting against it just think about it first to make sure you don't regret it later.
@Firkraag.... well I had a few more games than you do for my Wii, but basically about the same accessories. I sold my Wii on Ebay with Wii Fit and Balance Board, and then the game individually before Christmas 2008 and It all sold for a little over $700 USD. The Wii and Wii Fit went for close to $500 and all the games went for between $40-50 USD with Exception to MarioKart Wii wich went for $75 because of the extreme shortages they had that year it all sold VERY WELL and I bought my PS3 and a few games and the money left over went to my Sony Bravia HD Flatscreen for my GameRoom. Judging by your games you have for Wii, you will be fine without it.
Appreciate all the concern, but I don't think I'll change my mind and between my PC and PS3 I doubt I'll find the time to play the Wii anyways.
@Vendetta MMA is just a hobby so far, but you're right. I hardly ever play the Wii, thus have no need for it.
