This thread is here to discuss anything about the wonders of this super-mega-awesome-pwnage masterpiece. Being a Okami Defense Force Member (inside Neoseeker joke), it's clear I love this game. Practically everyone who has played it loves it. However, not a lot of people actually have the game. So treat this a a General Discussion on anything Okami.
I'll start the topic: What was your favorite boss battle?
You're gonna hate me, but... it is sat over there and I haven't played it.
Don't worry, it's next on the list, so as soon as I get bored of Resort, I'm on it. I am genuinely looking froward to it, been saving it for a while now. I'll come back here once I've put a few hours in.
Haven't played it that much, I forced myself to finish Zelda TP first, which I just did, I'm planning on give it a go now . I really like the way it looks, is awesome, and Amaterasu is beautiful. I'm gonna play the PS2 version, I'd rather the looks of it, but thats just me. Btw great avatar .

My favorite boss battle was against Orochi or whatever it was. It was nice to defeat all those heads and it wasn't even hard. It was just that I had to fight against it three times. And that strange samurai guy inside the emperor was good too. Actually I enjoyed every boss fight I could find. I think I'll start playing it again. It was just so good game. But I don't remember that little guys name who was always on Ammy's head. What was his name?
Is this game any good? seriously...someone tell me if its worth it or not. thanks!!^^

This game is near perfect. I actually have trouble finding problems with it. No seriously, the only thing I could find is the Wii controls take a while to get used to. It's like Zelda, but puts more emphasis on story and combat.
Okami is like Twilight Princess if TP was more unique a Zelda and was built more for the Wii. The only thing I didn't like in Okami was that they recycled Orochi twice (the boss rush at the end I can handle, just not Tri-ochi.)

The game is truly fabulous, although the last third feels tacked on and lengthens the game unnecessarily. That said, you do get a superb boss battle in this section with the clockwork owls - perhaps my favourite.
Much, much better than Zelda: TP, for me. After controlling the divine Amaterasu, Wolf-Link has all the grace of a half-blind, crippled mongrel.

And once you play Shadow of the Colossus, Ephona is a soul-less tank.
TP is a awful game...

I adored the game. I didn't quite finish all the sidequests but I came close and put in about 60 or 70 hours (maybe more? I don't remember). All I know is it was one of the most satisfying gaming experiences of my life and, despite being originally a PS2 title, it felt so perfect on the Wii.
There might be a Issun spin off. The main story writer (I think it was) said he'd love to do more with Issun. I don't think it'd be to hard for Platinum Games to get the rights to one character the size of a bug =P

It's just a damn shame that there will never be a sequel. I hoped it after I finished the game. But I hope there will still be something like Issun spin-off or something.
And now I forgot the name of that coward swordman...
