Batman: The Brave and the Bold. This game was overshadowed by Arkham Asylum which came out a year before. That and the fact it was based off of a cartoon series and that it was for the Wii probably made some people pass this one up. But I found it rather enjoyable especially in co-op mode. The story was decent and the game play along with the graphics reminded me alot of why I liked The Adventures of Batman and Robin on SNES. One of these days I plan on getting this game for my Wii collection.
I heard it was a great game! Is is like a side scrolling beat em up?

Yes and it does have a few parts that play out like a platformer as well.

I enjoyed Lost in Shadow / A Shadow's Tale as well. My German version is called "Der Schattenläufer und die Rätsel des dunklen Turms" (The shadowrunner and the riddles of the dark tower). It was the last Wii game I completed before moving on to Wii U. I had a hard time getting into it, and left the games for several years on the shelf, but got addicted after a few hours into the game. Worth the 15€ I spent on it. A unique quality platform/puzzler worth to be having in a good Wii collection.
Just about every good 3rd party game (with Little King's Story, Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Trauma Team being my personal favorites). Very few of them ended up with the sales numbers that their quality warranted.

I can agree with this completely. This was a real good platformer.
Metroid Other M, Wario Land Shake It, and Super Paper Mario are all very underrated games. Although I can understand why people dislike Super Paper Mario. It was a great game, but people were expecting it to be turn based.
The only thing I can really think of is Arc Rise Fantasia. It was a decently long game with a very good story, it had some common cliches and well as character archetypes but I feel that the story and characters differed well enough from the cliches to remain very interesting; in fact, I would say that having the archetypes helped get to know a characters personality so they could focus on different aspects of their mindset and morals. There are also a lot of short scenes between characters that are activated usually through some secret means, usually where you are and what outfit you have them wear. The combat system is fairly standard but weapon customization and the varying playable characters is what opens the game to a lot of fun, there are probably hundreds of ways to use a single character by choosing a weapon with a specific trait and then choosing different skills to attach to it. The only bad thing about it is the voice acting, while it's not the worst in the world it's pretty bad. It starts out pretty rough in the beginning and get better in the middle of the game but takes a nose dive at the end.
I would say Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn but it did about as well as any other FE game and it wasn't hated by any large group in particular so I don't really consider it underrated myself. Most of the critic reviews are positive and a good deal of those that aren't were written by those that were very unfamiliar with strategy rpgs and were expecting something completely different.
I think ExciteBots went under a lot of people's radars which is a shame because its really great. It has so many crazy elements and fantastic track design. Seriously, everyone should go check this game out, not to mention its probably rather cheap these days.

I didn't like the map. It's just a colorful picture to watch and get immersed, but not a help when trying to find your way.
I didn't like the controls. They could have used a better configuration. It's always bad to see the option was there but the developers didn't use it.
I didn't like the treasure chests. They close and refill when you leave the scene? Not going to get 100% treasure chests then...
I didn't like the battles. They weren't rewarding at all. Pretty soonish into the game I used to skip enemies all the time.
But i liked the action scenes, most of them were presented fairly well.
I liked the graphics, some landscapes and characters were just beautiful to look at up close in FPS mode. (Wii Top 10 graphics probably)
I liked the characters, they were cool enouogh to not cringe over them.
And the music is probably the best part of the game, giving the world the gust of freedom (just like Xenoblade Chronicles' soundtrack)
I'm so-so about the achievements, the NewGamePlus feature and replay value. Normally I like those challenges but here I wasn't interested in the slightest.
Also the jackets, emblems, forging and stuff. It completely left my focus, and the game was beatable without ever going into these rather deep features.
