Why is Link lefthanded anyway?

Miyamoto is left handed to so he made Link and Mario Left Handed.

Why is Samus a woman?

Why is Metrod a robot?

IDK what a Metrod is, but Metroids are energy sucking parasites. Samus is the one in a suit and she's not a robot either.

WII VERSION
ADVANTAGES
Still available
Dead-accurate slingshot and bow
Motion-controls
Cleaner button placement
More secondary items
Surround sound
DISADVANTAGES
Link is righthanded
More expensive
Wiis are still in high demand
GAMECUBE VERSION
ADVANTAGES
Link is a lefty
Cheaper
Good for those without a Wii
Can be played on the Wii
DISADVANTAGES
Traditional controls
Harder to find
Fewer secondary items

Personally, I'd say Traditional Controls are an advantage of the GCN version

I will never understand why Link having the sword in his left hand is so important to people. The Wii version is far superior, the controls are better, and since I have a widescreen TV, the Wii version looks a lot better as well.

My Brother has played through the GCN version, and my friend has played through the Wii Version. They like the corresponding version.

I own the Wii version, and I've played the Gamecube version.
I miss the camera control, like in Wind Waker. It was in the Gamecube version of TP as well. Absent in the Wii.
The GC version is the original product, and how it was intended to be made. I'm not a fan of the loss of camera control.

It's because they don't like change, so they're against it because of it. I'm a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series and I never cared if Link was a lefty or a righty, it makes no difference. For the topic, I think the Wii version is superior because of the bow and clawshot controls, 480p resolution, and can be put into widescreen.

It's definitely not [just] because they don't like change. Link's being left-handed has become one of his character traits, and changing that isn't a problem just because of change, it's a problem because that's part of the mythology of the legendary hero.

I have no desire to play Twilight Princess. Really, it's the only Zelda title that I have no interest in playing. I definitly think it's the ugly brown and grey pallette it has going on. I can't help it, I love my Zelda games to be colorful and vibrant. Like A Link to the Past for example.

I'm pretty sure that "twilight princess" has more colors than "a link to the past..."

Why can't link be ambidextrous?! I haven't played either version yet though. I'm a left and still do many things with my right except for writing/drawing.

Wii version, definitely, motion controls make everything better. Though I've never played the GC version.
But still, who doesn't love swinging the Wiimote around like a sword?
