Yay! A Pikmin 3 discussion thread! Too bad we don't know anything other than.....the fact that this is the third Pikmin game...Not really alot to go on. Miyamoto better spill about the game at this year's e3! If he avoids it for yet another year I'm gonna flip. Anyway, i think they need to add another Pkimin type to the mix. Not 2, that would seem kind of excessive, just one more. I think a black Pikmin would be a no-brainer for a new type. The only thing is I don't really know what a black Pikmin's special ability would be. We've already got fire resistance, water resistance, electricity resistance, heavy/slow, and poisonous/fast. Maybe the black pikmin could be the durable Pikmin. they could make him kind of scrawny so he isn't all that strong when he hits but he could take a lot more damage than any other Pikmin before dying. Hey, that's actually pretty good for something I just came up with on the spot! Oh, and another thing, they need to take those damn swooping snitch bugs out of the game! they are so incredibly annoying! I just can't stand those things.

Does anyone else think Pikmin 3 is gonna end up being Wii's swan song? It just feels like so long until its gonna be released and the Wii seems as though it doesn't have too much left in it. I think the earliest we'll be able to expect Pikmin 3 would be fall 2011 since it likely to be revealed at e3. I certainly hope this isn't the case though because that would mean that the Wii is truly at the end of its rope and it might mean not so hot sales for Pikmin which absolutely deserves stellar sales. Hope Nintendo handles this right...

@ bboy2970 Yeah good point. Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are a work of art. Im hoping _{Or possibly dreaming} of a pikmin 3DS. I think it would work perfectly.

Or what will be pikmin 3s Plot ?

If i remember correctly, Pikmin 3 has been on the works for ages. I wouldn't be surprised if they released it next summer. Zelda is propably Wiis swansong, since they always come later than expected.
