Topic: The Last Story

The Last Story is a good game, and well worth the money if you decide to buy it.
However, if skipping it (for now at least) means you'll be able to get yourself a 3DS sooner, then that could be a good plan as the 3DS is an awesome little system with some great games already, and with more great games on the way.

I still can't beat the Kraken after level grinding. I use a tactic that I heard where I go into the tentacles guarding with gathering activated and then kill them all at once with burst when it gets to max. before the head of the Kraken emerges and I use the vertical slice but something annoying is that the aiming reticle for the vertical slice doesn't always reach the Kraken so I just aim it as close as possible but me and my comrades all still die eventually.

I used the same tactic and it worked much better today and I was able to beat it!

I'm having some trouble with another boss. I think its called the sentinel beast, Mitra. Can anyone help with this?

The boss fight in chapter 38 was awesome! His insane ramblings created some great quotes and the boss theme was brilliantly fitting too.

I am so buying The Last Story. Been waiting for this game for a couple of years and now I'm going to get the opportunity to try it.

I'm pretty sure he was joking. Anyway, I need some help with the final phase of the final boss fight. I know that you can climb up those blocks to jump and land a hit on his head but often he won't be close enough for it to work. Also, I think its unfair that he can deal 99999 damage, instantly KOing you regardless of your level and armour.
