Well, I have been playing The Conduit for about an hour now. I have mixed feelings on the game. I don't think it will live up to the hype. But it is a great game so far! The story line starts out farther into the story and the flashes to the past. From the start, it is intense to say the least. You start out in an advanced suit and with the ASE. You are given a training mission and you encounter the aliens and even have a chance to use their weapons. The name is derived from portals that they use called conduits. The conduits look to me like the ports in Elders Scrolls 4. I have made it half way through the second level where you chase down an enemy organization. A key factor in the game is cover from enemy fire. And I will say the enemy A.I. is great! I was gunned down several times! The controls will need to be adjusted off the bat! The run speed is a bit slow but you can adjust it. The changeable HUD is a great feature and the controls are nice to readjust as well. I did venture into online. It is a bit laggy, but then again, I had not changed my run speed and sensitivity. Unfortunately you have to change the in online mode. All in all, the online was a pretty decent experience! One thing, out of the three games I played, no one was using WiiSpeak, but there is an option! The story line is, well, a bit dry, but more are anyways. Look at Red Steel's story line and cut scenes, I love that game by the way! I will say that the reason I do not believe the game will meet the hype is the graphics, don't get me wrong, they are great! But I think Metroid Prime 3 had more fluid graphics and a better feel. But I am only a mission in and ran down from a busy day at work. I play to give a review most likely Sunday when I have had a chance to really play the game!

Vegeta: Just...just...transform damn you... Bulma: We are going to have a penthouse sweet...and he'll drive a corvet...and we will make love every single... Zarbon: (transforms) Bulma: KILL IT WITH FIRE!
Oh I like it, it's just that the controls are a little hard for me to grasp after playing so much CoD: WaW. Those controls felt weird at first too, but soon became second nature. It looks like I need more practice with The Conduit.
Why would you give away the codes like that... That takes the specialness away... People like us waited the following day for the gamestop exclusive version with those codes while the people who got it Monday midnight didn't but no wait here comes someone to give away the codes.. /= Anyways, it's a great game i love it! Especially the customization.

GameTrailers gave it a 7.8 and said the online play was good, but single player was pretty much boring. The online play was stable for them, but the game wasnt released to the public yet.
Really, after playing for another hour or so, the online is solid! Fifth game in I really fell into a groove!

Yeah the online gets good once you work with it for a bit. I have had a few problems of it locking up on connecting, but haven't experienced any lag but I've only done regional matches to try and alleviate that. Once I'm in the game they're quite enjoyable.
Currently getting my butt kicked by a bunch of shock troopers. Love the alien guns and complete customization options. The Quantum3 engine is pretty nice.
This game is AWESOME. It is nothing revlotionary, but it is the best FPS game for the Wii. The single player mode and the online multiplayer are a blast to play. Everybody, buy this game!
I just got it and I am liking it so far. Not much of a FPS gamer but I really liking this. I enjoyed Metroid Prime series and this one feels similar to that for me. I am loving the graphics., the particle effects are nice.
Ya i will have to say the graphics are well done, sorry AlexSays, but i think theyre just fine. Metroid 3 still a bit better i think, but i may change my mind later. Gameplay wise, this is a blast, really has a halo feel to it . HOWEVER, i am having a problem because from games like CoD WaW for wii that i have you shake the nunchuk to reload, and in this game shaking throws a grenade therefore killing me. I already tried and found out you can't set reloading to shaking the nunchuck like cod or shaking the wiimote like moh2 heroes...I will get use to this new press - thing eventually tho. ANOTHER issue i have is that im not used to not getting the zoom in which ur gone comes to the middle of the screen and u shoot it that way. usually u press z and u go into that view but in this that view seizes to exist (this is the view im talking about http://www.psu.com/media/call-of-duty-5/call-of-duty-5-ss-15.... but i guess i will adjust for this too, as i think this is the same as halo, u can look thru ur visor but not ur actually gun for zoom like in call of duty. Anyways, i really think im gonna like this and get online soon enuf, just doing single player for now and yes it is a blast Next time lets pray for local multiplayer
