I'm so excited for this game! I preordered this a while back and I keep counting down the days until it arrives! It's set to be the game of the century what with all the hype. I just hope it lives up to it all...

lol?

There's not that much hype. And some of that hype is negative, with some people thinking it looks awful.

@AlexSays: There's always people that think a game looks awful.

I'm excited for it too. IGN has some sweet looking previews of it.

In this case there's a lot more than usual because High Voltage promised the graphics would be on par with an early 360 game.

You check a website like Gamespot and there's nothing but hate for the game. Heck, The Conduit has pretty much become the game to make fun of on that site.

A lot of Wii owners aren't looking forward to this.

why arent you lookin forward to this unless you despise shooters?

For once a developer has made a FPS for the hardcore thats not WW2! With voice chat for once, 16 players. Though it seems similar to halo...

I'm not looking forward to it, but for different reasons. The graphics look fine to me. Maybe they aren't 360-quality, but I care much more about game play than graphics, and lack of split-screen is inexcusable on the party system.

Well in my case, I own another console that has plenty of great shooters.

Considering there isn't anything in this game that hasn't been in a FPS since 2002, besides IR pointing (the only reason I may ever buy this), there's not much for a person like me to look forward to.

This is great though for people who only own a Wii and want a shooter.

@advance_melee:
AlexSays didn't say they weren't looking forward to this, they said that "some people weren't". Also, not looking forward to something does not necessarily equal hating it. I actually do despise shooters, but I'm looking forward to it. There have been several FPS games on Wii for the "hardcore" (Red Steel, Metroid Prime 1,2,3), and 12 players. Also, what is similar to Halo besides being an FPS with some aliens?

I use the same username on TVTropes and youtube. look me up!

I know. I myself cannot wait for it. Twelve players, voice chat (If only we could use it in random battle and not have to go through the FC **** (For the most part strangely, I actually like it)), customizable screen and controls, and thirteen online matches. Set to be the Wii game of 2009, if this game is truly the game that will save the hardcore gamers, it better not disappoint like Super Smash Bros. Brawl did in 2008.

For those who want Mega Man in Super Smash Bros. 4, check out this thread:
Lots of goods things await.

Currently in construction, but there are some neat things to look at.

I looking forward to this and I own a 360 with Halo 1,2, and 3. This game just seems like it had more effort put into it than other games on the 360. btw my gamertag is blockhead1700 if anyone has an xbox and wants to add me

The Hype come from people who are desperate to prove that tje Wii is an amazing graphical machine. When people take something too seriously, is certain that with time everybody will make fun of it, it is just a game... a generic game that looks ok.
Nothing wrong with expecting, liking, buying, loving the game.. but ¿game of the century? (Yes i hate FPS) ;)

I myself am not a fan of FPS, with the exception of MP.
They all seem the same to me, so I don't think I'll do more than maybe rent this.

No Wii U yet.... Not enough first party wow titles to pull me in yet... And Nintendo's got a ways to go to repair the damage done during the Wii generation.

Why does everyone keep bashing the no splitscreen thing? I've seen countless Xbox 360 games that only have online and no local.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to it, for obvious reasons, such as online. Apart from PC, the Wii is the best system to play FPSs on.

Also, I third the gamestop thing.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
