i really liked his review. it's kind of funny to see someone trying to write in such a lofty way for a video game about a plumber flying through space, but still good. it turned my 'want it' knob up to 11.
Wow, how did I not see this thread until now? This is probably my most hyped game of.... well.... ever. (But I'm young compared to some people...)
Anyway, SOOOO excited for this game!!! Super Mario Galaxy is BY FAR my favorite 3D Mario game ever, and this looks like its going to be even better! Is it May 23rd yet???
EDIT: Just read the Edge review. I have officially reached the level of super-hypeness that I probably reach a little too often. I WANT THIS GAME!!
Who else has been playing a ton of Super Mario Galaxy to hype them up? I got 100 stars last night, so my goal is to try and get those last 20 before the 23rd. I know there are a few of those coin and speed challenges that are kicking my butt right now though.

@suburban_sensei Good luck. I hear that SMG2 is gonna be WAY harder. Yoshi is gonna be an AWESOME addition to this game. Did anyone find reservations at a target or walmart? I'm getting this game on Day 1. Awesome that it comes out on a weekend. No?

I started hyping SMG2 a week ago. I completed Luigi's quest in SMG, and completed SMG 100%. Then I played a little bit of NSMBW, and I am now playing Super Paper Mario. I think that is a great way to hype for SMG2.

Am I the only one that has no desire to see a story in the Mario platformers? I mean, for the Mario & Luigi/Paper Mario games it works (most of the time) but I think trying to give something like Galaxy 2--which prides itself on the random and ridiculous--a sense of context; let alone a coherent story.
