Did anyone who reads my posts regularly (why would you do that?) notice when my friend codes were removed from my sig? I don't remember doing it, but I was using it to store all of my friend codes, and now I have to go back in and find them again. Such a useless system.

I believe you guys that you don't like the Gamecube controller for fighters, but I'm curious as to why? It seems just like any other controller to me. I never played any traditional fighters on Cube, though (can't even think of one that was on the system)
As has been mentioned, the button layout is terrible for fighters. Plus, if you were one of those that uses the dpad instead of the stick, well then you're just screwed on the GC controller.

Ah, back when I played fighters more often than I do now, I mostly played Mortal Kombat, which doesn't rely much (if at all) on pressing multiple attacks at once. I always did think Street Fighter moves are unnecessarily complicated, and most other fighters tend to be even worse. But that explains the GCN thing that I was confused about. Carry on.

@Backontopic About this whole tatsunoko vs capcom game, even tho i really like how its 2.5D, i really dont like the fact that you have to use 2 people . Often i pick one fighter as my favorite after trying the fighters and then i stick with 1 but this game forces you to have 2??? why did they do that id love to take off the tag teams and just have 1 fighter with 2 health bars! that would be my fighter heaven. 2.5D...2 health bars (or halfed damage if its one health bar), and 1 character.
Actually, there are two larger boss-like characters in TvC that if you choose, you don't get a team mate with. Of course, if you refuse to play tag team, you'll end up having only two choices of characters, haha.
I like the tag team format of games like this precisely because it forces players to experience a wider range of characters and challenge yourself to master multiple move sets.
Of course, I only played one match of the game, and it was all in Japanese, so there might be other options, too, that I don't know about.
Don't worry DaDun. Were getting Tatsunoku vs Capcom and TMNT Smash Up! The other systems ain't getting those. You should be okay.

@Adam I hope i can turn it off, cuz solo to me is always prefered than tag team, i dont even like tag teaming in brawl and such, id much rather be on my own team with one person so then if i lose i can say i lost with my best character on my own versus i lost because my teammate can't hold his own when im using him in a 2 on 2 battle
I think people just count Wii out just because is has so called, "Bad Graphics". I will give that Ps3 and 360 have better graphics, but does that matter:? You play games for fun, not to see great graphics. Oh, and have you seen the graphics of SSBB, Marasuma, Prime 3, Galaxy, Other M, Galaxy 2, and a bunch of other games?

To make the same comparable game, you'd have to work it to at least be playable with the only controller you can assume a user has (the remote $ nunchaku). It would be a pretty mean move if someone forced you to buy a classic/gamecube controller to play their game/

And to those of you who ask: 2D is like sidescrolling like the original streetfighters were, 3D is like soul caliber, moving in all directions, 2.5D is basically 3D character/background models but you still only move left and right, like brawl.

With the Wiimote sideways there would not be enough buttons for the average fighting game, for example Streetfighter has light, medium and hard punches and kicks which requires 6 buttons, with the Wiimote sideways the A button would be rendered useless as you will always need your thumb on the d-pad, that leaves the 1,2 and B button which just isn't enough, not to mention the lack of a analogue control stick.
I don't think it is too much to ask for fans of the fighter genre to buy a classic controller, there are other games that require you to buy a separate peripheral, maybe they could sell the game bundled with the classic controller pro, that would be a smart move from Nintendo.
I do know what 2.5D is, its just that some people may be a bit confused. in the Original post, for example, the statement about are there 2.5D games coming seemed odd to me as they're alost all 2.5D

Well with some expections, works treat with soul calibur 2 and SSB Brawl, maybe you mean more 2D type games but you know I think it would be cool if a Wii advantage was relased .
