3 days ago they broke in my house and they basically stole everything. At first, I didn't mind because it happens right? then I realized they took my old Wii and it meant a lot to me, because it was a gift from someone who passed away, and I was wondering if their's any way to get the memory back if I get a new Wii to replace it. I had some lost data from there now that they stole it and I will do anything to get my Wii ):
If you send Nintendo a copy of the police report and a new Wii I have heard that they can replace purchases like VC games or WiiWare but you would have to contact Nintendo for sure.

Bless your soul. You won't be able to recover your save data unless you've backed it up somewhere, but as long as you file a police report and recall any relevant log-in details (the serial number of your Wii perhaps?), then Nintendo Customer Service are likely to help you out in transferring your purchased games and other downloads to a new Wii or perhaps even a Wii U system. It won't be the most straightforward procedure, but it may be worth your while to try.

If I may ask, what else did you own (if everything you had was taken) that you cared less about than the Wii?
A shame to have lost something of such sentimental value.
Well, it does depend on what sort of thieves we're dealing with here. I remember getting back from vacation once as a kid, find a few of my SNES games missing. But I don't know if that's we just had a lot of crap but I'd say one of the more valuable things they stole was my sister's Starter jacket. (they're a pretty generic clothing brand these days but if you remember the '90s you might remember that was some seriously hot fashion Like the only time I've heard of a few people getting mugged, for clothing. ). They stole our cable box that but that wasn't worth much to us since we could just report it stolen (and did, which might be why most of the stuff got returned mysteriously, once they got that freeloaded cable cut off ). We suspect it was some of my sister's druggie friends that stole just about all my childhood SNES/GB games and most of our Disney VHS tapes (again, 90s).
