Topic: So will Wii coverage take a back seat to 3DS coverage here on Nintendo Life?

The reason I ask is cause I have notice the past few weeks most of the news coverage as been about the 3DS. I understand that the 3DS is coming out in a month or so but does that mean everyone here isnt going to cover or talk about the Wii anymore. The main reason I ask is cause I dont plan on buying a 3DS at launch due to the lack of money right now. I really like this site since I find that it gives the most updated info on games and the reviews are really good. I hope you guys will give the Wii the same attention that you have in the past.

I think NL covers whatever news is current. At the moment it's mostly 3DS stuff since not much is happening on the Wii front. It'll be business as usual once we get some more info on Skyward Sword and other upcoming Wii games.

Not to mention there are a number of excellent WiiWare titles still to come!

I also don't plan to get a 3DS and don't really care about 3DS news, but it is what is Nintendo is really pushing it so that is where the news is can't shoot the messenger.

of course there's an influx of 3DS-related coverage at the moment, all building up to the eventual western release of the console, but if not much is happening Wii-wise, not much is happening. it'll all go back to normal again after a while, i'm sure.

Also keep in mind that the Wii is over 4 years now. Most console generations are 5 or 6 years so the Wii is getting closer to riding out into the proverbial sunset. I mean, there's only a few big games coming out for it this year (that we know of) so not much can be said about them.
