Well, it has finally come to it. I've been going back and forth on this for some time now, but I've finally decided that it's better I just get rid of it. Oh, there are plenty of good games alright, but for the last year or so I have only very occasionally played with it. I kept buying games I've barely played so far. I play with my DS plenty, but almost every time I look at my Wii I have this curious sense of disinterest. I'm not exactly sure why that is, but before it becomes too big a wasteful money-sink for me I'd be better off selling the console and recoup at least some cash.
So, I'm looking to sell it via craigslist - I don't need the hassle of the likes of ebay. I've been looking at a price of $450/500. Is that too little or too much? I just want a fair price point that's also guaranteed for it to move. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Here's what would come with my Wii, which is in excellent working condition:

Considering you've got a buttload of downloaded games and it comes with pricey things like Rock Band, I'd say that your price poitn would be a steal. Start there and see what offers you get. You could also try ebay with a reserve price around there.

You should sell everything separately, but include everything you got in the box with the wii itself. Then add up the prices of all the downloadables and the SD.
Wow, I can't believe you're considering that, don't do it please! But if you really have to (like if its hostage money or something important like that), that valuation is waaay too cheap in my opinion. I am looking from a UK angle though, but still, that's a really really really good deal (too good). Look, just play Little King's Story while you think about it, and I'll prep the £250 or whatever to snag that. That's the price of a New Wii and a game and a peripheral. Compare that to your awesome list up there.
Geez...Wii sports Resort and Little Kings Story just came out and you bought 'em and now your selling the damn thing!?
As I've mentioned in the original post, I keep buying these games I barely play. I usually end up playing them for the first two days or so and then just stop for whatever reason. I simply need to stop myself from pumping more money into a system that I'm hardly using, and this is the best way to go about it.
Mario Forever! (free nipple suit and gratuitous butt-shots included) PSN: MisterMumbles82
400 is the lowest you could go.....LOWEST I SAY! 860 BEING THE HIGHEST.
To everyone here I'm adding all you guys to my friend list on brawl and wii. (need more people to brawl)
Wii FC: 5412 0162 6187 3594 Brawl FC: 0517 4738 5514 Why do I want to bring back Pluto? Cuz the 8 others bullied it and I don't approve of bullying and I am here with this pointless movement to remind people of how (in)significant it really is!
I'm on a self imposed ban cos I was spending way too much on games and just trying them all out. Using that helped a bit, but just stick to one game at a time, complete it, NEXT! It's more fulfilling and you might become friends with your Wii again. 0_o
@Pegasus: Then I don't know if you could get rid of it then. When you first get a system, your not going to buy tons of games and assocories right away. Id say $1000 for the wii(with everything that came in the box) and all the downloadables.
