Seriously. This is just a kids game, what in the hell is so special about it. Most of the people playing it are under 10 and it can be mastered by people that age. No high level of play whatsoever and no depth.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is proper gameplay mechanics with advanced combos which while not at the level of super turbo / sf4 or VF series, it does at least take skill to pull off and cant be done by anyone.

People complain about the game being hard.

jeez.....

Chess has more depth. I don't play it that much because it's not a fighting game & it's not as fun as Brawl. Fighter's Destiny is a purer fighting game. I don't play it that much because it's not a platforming fighting game & it's not as fun as Brawl.

Takes all sorts I suppose.

Brawl isn't a kid's game. This is a kid's topic.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Have you ever tried to beat adventure on intense with no continues?

And its more fun if its easy to master, then you can have more fun in multiplayer with others, if you need something harder there are plenty of hard things under solo

Alot of people suggest that a "real fighing game" is Street Fighter (or one of its sequels). Brawl is not a kids game imo. Kids, are the kind of people in most games, who find their favorite character, without any thought, and button mash. Frankly, it takes alot more to master a game than learning how to hit a button so many times in a second. Theres jumping, strong attacks, dodging, and I think Brawl is a very suitable game, and Melee proves this as it has been in various gaming tournaments around its release.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Agreed.

Brawl is quite deep anyways, much less depth than Melee, but it still has lots of depth.

Edit: I guess I'll add this since Aviator mentioned tournaments, there was actually a really huge Melee tournament not long ago, Pound 4, anyways were you to look up the videos you likely wouldn't be able to figure how they did what they did.

Why you're playing on a "kid" system in the first place? sarcasm
The people that label "kid" usually are the ones acting as a kid themselves.

Try using an different difficult next time, maybe there you'll see.
Or even participate on a tournament if your that "good".

Brawl was designed with the intention for people of all levels of play to be able to enjoy, not just kids. While on the surface the game may look rather basic it is much more deep than a lot of people may understand. There are many factors that set apart the pros from the "kids" in this one. Spamming moves does not work in one's favor. You need a good strategy and fighting style which most young kids lack if you want to be good at this. Last I checked most kids can't beat a lv9 computer let alone an experienced human opponent. Say what you will about Brawl, it won't change the fact that it is a deep competitive game hidden under a flashy, simple looking surface.

Brawl is rated Teen in the States. It's not meant for kids.
Also, do you know how many little kids play Halo 3? The youngest "pro" halo player is only 9! [lil poison is his name]
I agree that this is quite the kids topic.

Just let it happen.
