Hello there. I'm about to have my computer fixed and I don't want to use the DSi Internet for surfing the net. The main reason why I've asked is because the Wii Internet Channel can play Youtube video and support Flash 7, but the DSi doesn't even support Flash. Also, it's easier to use that. So, should I re-download the Internet Channel for the Wii? I've downloaded it before and if I re-download it, it's free. Remember, I'm using it as a temporarily solution, my computer will be back, so I will delete it once it's returned.

So if your computer is only gone for a little why, download this the channel and then delete it again. Or just leave it in the SD Card section. If you have an SD Card in your Wii.

I used to be immature, but then I took a reality to the knee. And by that, I mean that Microsoft banned me for no reason.

yes it can play youtube videos. If you go to Youtube.tv on your wii. its a channel for the Wii and PS3

It certainly used to, I remember using it a bit. I haven't used the channel in forever though, so I can only go by ASWE's word that it doesn't now due to the new version of Flash.
EDIT: Nevermind, Mdee to the rescue!

It couldn't play Gametrailer videos, but I managed to watch a few Dragonball episode on Youtube without loading problems. However, Nintendo needs to update their flash support.

If you find the idea of playing video games through a web browser cool, then go for it. (Check out the dual-wielding in Coverfire!) Otherwise don't bother.

Are you kidding? I love it! It's only for people with Nintendo DSi, and I have it! I'm going to (hopefully sign up!

I would only download the internet channel if you own a usb keyboard.

I get so much use out of the internet channel. Finetune (set up playlists on your pc, then log into your wii and it becomes your own personal jukebox, awesome), WiiCade (loads & loads of Flash games for your wii-mote), Orisinal (more gaming goodness with v.nice presentation), BBC iPlayer (UK only, but a great service with a nice UI).
There's loads more just bookmark WiiPortal in Opera and you're off. I agree with JTCPingas & have a small wireless usb keyboard which works a treat. And btw, if you haven't used the internet channel since the original release, the updated version is alot quicker. Get it dude!

Yeah, USB keyboard is a big plus. I never use it, but in the past when I've wanted to check my email or a forum and my wife has been monopolising the laptop I've found it handy and it's only 500 points.
My real long-term solution is to get a Mac Mini to hook up to my TV via HDMI; then I might use MAME again as well!
