answer this question:

do you prefer a deep single player experience that will have you hooked for hours (metroid)

or a multiplayer experience with plenty of variaty and longetivity... (conduit)

I have a similar question - should I buy Metroid Prime Trilogy or Metroid Prime 3? I know it sounds like a crazy question, but I already have Metroid Prime 1 & 2 and I've only just managed to reach the end of the second game. I want to pick up the third now but should I just wait and get the trilogy or just get the third game now? Since I already have the first two, I'm finding it hard to make the decision.

I didn't like the Conduit much, good thing I rented it...if you like FPSs then you can rent the game...otherwise wait for Trilogy, I'm already getting ready to trade in my three Prime games for it, lol.

Get Metroid Prime Trilogy. Even if it was just Prime with motion controls it would be a better buy than the Conduit IMO, but all three Metroid Prime games? It's a steal.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

All metroid games after super metroid and the GB metroids suck

Correction: Metroid II sucks. Metroid Fusion is amazing, and so is the entire Prime series (well, MP2 wasn't so amazing...)

I'd go with Prime Trilogy, especially if you never played the Prime series before. Unlike The Conduit, the Prime games don't play like every other shooter on Earth, and they're actually good!

It really depends on what your wanting, if you want an FPS with great online and a short campaign get the Conduit. If you want a game to put at least 30 hours that really only requires shooting every now and then buy Metroid Prime Trilogy. If you want both, buy the Conduit now and save up for the Metroid Prime Trilogy, thats aboyt 6 weeks away!

August 24th is one day before my Bday!^^
I MAYBE able to Fit both games into my collection but considering my family is short on money an we can't afford anything at all(i only get 1 game per year so i gotta make a good choice)

If Metroid Prime Trilogy costs 50 Euro then im getting it.....because its 3 adventure games in one. it will last longer than The Conduit and Besides...the Conduits online is supposdly not that good due to the servers cutting players out or the lag they get online.
Im getting MP:Trilogy!
Thanks guys!

Although Metroid is way more quality for the price, Conduit's online is just awesome. The only real way to go here is buying The Conduit now and save up so you can buy the triology asap.
If you really can't save up till you have enough for both games in 3 months, wait for the triology, but do know your missing something.

I meant to say that only the 2d metroids are good.

Get Prime Trilogy there is more game for the money.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.

Trilogy, but I'm worried about it. Three huge games on one disc, I'm worried it might be slow, glitchy, or maybe cut some stuff. JK. But here's what I'm really worried about. Will my mom let me get it and will I be able to get it online without it being out of stock?

IGN said that everything is working fine when they tested it and all that. (its going to be on a DVD type disc so yeah)
They said there were going to be some slight graphical updates to the first two and that the next rooms will be able to load up faster and all that.

Oh, and why is MP2 not "amazing" or whatever? I thought it was great.

EDIT: Er, wait...you said jk...lol.

correction: all metroids after Super Metroid are still quite good...aside from hand-holding issues with Fusion and Zero Mission (still good games, and it's so much harder to exploit sequence-breaking)...Prime series is a lot of fun, and is actually DIFFICULT! (read: Hard/Hyper/whatever mode)
