The situation here...I can buy de blob for under 20 bucks, it has 4 player splitscreen which is great, a cool concept and a humorous single player. With excitebots, it would cost 40 bucks, only 2 player splitscreen which isnt as great, but its a super fast racer with no single player depth since its just a racer (albeit a very good one i hear). So based on what I will get for the different prices, which is the better deal/game to buy here?

My vote goes to De Blob. I had the game for awhile, and really enjoyed it. The Single Player was great if you are a completionist like myself, and my girlfriend and I had a ball with the multiplayer. $20 is a steal for this quality game.

Excitebots. I found de Blob boring and repetitive. Excitebots is fast and furious, but, at the same time, the courses lack variety. Still, the online is great, and it's pretty well balanced.
I haven't played the De Blob, but I own Excitebots and I can't say that I loved it. There is aspects of the game I like, but I love Mario Kart Wii way more!

I've played de Blob, and I've gotta say it's one of the Wii's best platformers. Definitely a great buy at under $20.

Haven't played de Blob. I did have Excitebots. I drooled over videos of it online for a couple of months before I got it. When I did, it was a mega letdown. I found the controls a bit sloppy and the gameplay unrewarding. Online play and the card gimmick were extra hooks that were not very fun. I played the game through one time and traded it in making a down payment for Wii Sports Resort while I was at it. Go with de Blob I guess, if you absolutely have to have one of these games.

Why is it always a choice between two games!? If you have a DS then I recommend TWEWY, and for Wii I recommend Zack & Wiki or Okami. All of them are great (far greater than either of those) games and they're $20 or less.
De Blob is great; Excite Bots online multiplayer may tip the scales. I'd have that already if it was released in the UK -- please Nintendo? PUH-LEEEEEEEZE?
