Hi y'all! After reading the artice on Code Veronica I remembered that I had been looking to buy the Resident Evil games that released on the gamecube. I've heard a lot of critics praising the Gamecube version of Resident Evil as well as Resident Evil 0 but have noticed that these were also released on the Wii. While my gamecube is still functioning, two of my three memory cards are now busted so It would be easier to get the versions that were released on the Wii. I haven't heard anyone ever talk about these versions though and so was wondering if I should avoid them.
Please let me know what you think of these titles and what my best cause of action would be.

I also want to know the differences between RE 1 and 0 in Gamecube and Wii

Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

The REmake for RE1 on GameCube is probably the best Resident Evil game that used the classic RE formula (Pre- RE4 era). Its not just a graphical makeover, it's a complete re-imagining of the original RE1, but better. The story and game is the same same between versions (Wii & GC) ... just the controls are different, obviously, from GC & Wii versions. The Wii versions are good and if you have the option then get them, but if I had to chose or recommend which was better, I would stick to the GC version for the traditional controls.

I have both on Wii and Gamecube (RE Zero and REmake) and the only difference in the Wii versions are that you don't have to swap discs.

The controls are the same (you can use a Gamecube controller on the Wii version so it's just like the Gamecube version).

i found they ran a tiny bit smoother and the audio was improved but still not worth getting them again if you have the originals. res 4 however was much improved over its game cube counterpart
