Haters have been giving the game 0s and such. Normally I'd expect a couple of these, but this is the largest group of haters I've ever seen; and the game's not even out yet! What's especially bad is what the people wrote. If you read some of the hater reviews, you'll get a pretty good idea of their intentions.

IGN has always been full of haters. What else is new?

And besides, once the game releases, everyone who buys it will start commemorating it for what it is: a great game.

They're probably the same people who thinks COD MW2 is the best game ever made, but it really sucks. They're so mad, cause little ol Mario beat their COD, Halo etc. score.

I wonder if it is as bad as FFXIII for the 360...

They're just mad that a Wii game got a 10/10 from they're favorite gaming site.

Seriously, grow up. Who gives a bleh if it got a better score then your COD MW2. I admit, CoD is fun, but are you saying it doesn't have BOOM BOOM AND BAYNG BAYNG? I was sure guns went BOOM BOOM AND BAYNG BAYNG and not make soft kitty sounds.
I'm fully aware that I'm talking about IGNers here, and I know all too well that there is a good population there that, for some reason, despises Nintendo.

Maybe I was wrong about that population. Perhaps they've become Nintendo cannibals. The poster also said, "[reasons why it sucks] it's on the Wii."
Come ON... Yes, the Wii has had it's misfits, but lets take a look at the XBox and the PS3. Those consoles have also developed their misfits, but a few too many people just see them, buy them, play them and say "At least it's better than anything Nintendo's made."

Y'know, I think you need to have a "Smart License" to be on the internet. Not only would that get rid of the morons, but it would make people think rationally for once in their lives.

Hahaha, yeah, this is common between 360 and PS3 games on IGN. Of course, a Nintendo game gets IGN's first 10/10 of the year, so naturally the little a**holes are going to go knock it.

Still, the people giving it 10s are just as bad.

Who cares? If they want to whine, let them.

Are some people here new to the internet? This happens with anything nerdy that allows fan reviews. People will blindly put up inflated scores and overly low scores for things they have an irrational love/hate for. Both groups suck balls.

Oh, and it's not just IGN this happens on. Heck, back when this site allowed user reviews I have no doubt there were plenty of people automatically clicking "10" (well, it went up to 5 back then I think) for every game they like and "0" for ones they disliked.
