Is what Nintendo does. Consider these attach rates for the 5 best selling Wii games:
Wii has sold something like 53.6 mil according to VGchartz, where I found all this data...(watching football)
Not counting bundled games,
Wii Play has sold 24.25 million 45% attach rate Wii Fit - 22.2 million 41% attach Mario Kart Wii - 17.5 million 33% attach Smash Brothers Wii - 8.63 million 16% attach Mario Galaxy - 8.14 million 15% attach
Good way to build customer loyalty... I do believe we could see Wii Sports Resort and New Super Mario push the bottom 2 of the list before all is said and done...These number are very impressive sespecially in the current era of 2nd hand game sales through ebay, etc. and retailers like Gamespot and now even Walmart....
Sport Resort is currenlty 9th best selling wii game at 4.73 million....almost a 9% rate, not bad for a summer release - and bodes well for motion plus.

Given the cost of WiiFit, it's really impressive it has that sort of attach rate, though it makes sense given how difficult it was to find for a while. I'm sort of surprised the other games don't have a higher attach rate. What's the other 60+% of the wii ownership playing? I wonder what the percentage would be if you counted used games, shame those sales can't really be tracked, and some probably have one or two of the listed games, but not the others. Still, all of these games have a fairly broad appeal, and it looks like there may be some people who haven't branched out too far, if at all, beyond Wii Sports.
