Project Hammer was announced at launch of the Wii and here we are 3 years later with no mention of the game, not even confirmation that the game is cancelled of not. I remember looking at the screenshots of the game and thinking, "That looks like a good game". Now here we are in the blue with no info on the game. In my mind I think they are still making it as the company that was/is making it has only released a few DSiWare titles, this leads me to believe that they are still working on the game. But I'm starting this topic to see if I can get anymore information on the game and hear some of the sites opinions, so go!
I'm pretty sure I saw an article in ONM and they said that they cancelled it. They maybe are still making it. But thats quite a long time to be working on it.

Just yesterday, we showed you a GAME listing for Rogue Squadron Wii, which seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Well, our Gamestation friend says that the same game has shown up in their computer system as well. Two retailers with the same listing...seems like something is going on.
Of course, the story doesn't end there. I have to ruin it a little bit for all of you. The same Gamestation employee said thatanother game also showed up in their computer system. What game would that be, you ask? None other than the 'shelvedindefinitely' Project H.A.M.M.E.R..

I'm glad to here at least some mention of Project Hammer at a retail place! It gives me hope that it will be released (then again Duke Nukem Forever could have been preordered at one point and it is cancelled, Supposedly! )
this thread was a while back, so i wouldn't expect you to have found it. but we did email Ninty, and they pretty much said the game didn't exist but they weren't going to say if it one day would. (you can read the actual email in the thread.) but i think emailing nintendo is about the most official we're going to get for now...

I remember that people thought Disaster had been canned for awhile, so it could be a similar case here. I hope so anyway, I remember seeing some leaked screens and it looked pretty good

That actually looks pretty cool if they put a solid game around it. I like the damage effects on the car when he hits it. There's something there; with Motion Plus I think it could really shine.
