If there is a VC on project cafe (probably will be) do you think there will be gamecune games on it? Im just guessing there might be cause on wii we had n64 two generations ago and with wii2/project cafe GC will be 2 generations ago. Your thoughts?

Windwaker was on the GC. No way they would let that game die. I hope.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

This thread is probably about to get locked, but yeah I almost guarantee there will be Gamecube games available on the VC of the Project Cafe. I just hope they still allow you to play your Gamecube disks on the new system too.

If GCN are DL I wanna see what theyll do for games like Melee and the Pikmin Trophy, or if you can get F-Zero GX stuff when AX comes on VC or Radiant Dawn stuff with POR DL

If there is GC on VC then there should also be DC and Saturn games, woohoo!
Other possible platforms would be 3DO, Jaguar, more sophisticated Arcade games etc.

I hope that you can still play GC games via disc as there are still gamecube games I haven't finished as well as some that I haven't got yet but plan on getting and some of the GC games I still plan on getting seem unlikely for a vc release if GC games were on the wii seccessors vc.

Nahh! It should just have a Wii and GC backwards compatibility.

Hard to say if they will be Gamecube games, it really depends if the system will have a hard drive or not. I personally think backwards compatibility is enough but some Saturn games would be great to see on VC.

Currently Playing:
Zelda II: Adventure of Link

It better let me play GCN games via disc...I'm not getting rid of Paper Mario 2, Wind Waker, and/or Pikmin 2. >_>

This is my thoughts of the Gamecube games being offered on the next system's VC, which I posted in this thread, https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/general_discussion/project...

In order for the Wii to play Gamecube games it "shuts off" the Wii portion of the system so to speak and it turns on a Gamecube portion of the system, hence why you cant access the Wii menu or use the Wiimotes or anything else Wii related untill you reset the Wii.

Now Nintendo could leave the Gamecube part out of their next system but include the Wii portion so therefor the only way you can play GC games would be a download.

Truthfully It doesnt matter to me since I plan on keeping my Wii even after the new system does come out and I also have a Gamecube in storage as well.
