I can not seem to find a topic for either of the Pikmin games (at least the first 2) except for the one for new Play Controls Mario Tennis and Pikmin 2, so I wanted to make a topic just for Pikmin as a whole, if that's alright. If I'm just bad at finding stuff please let me know.

Definitly a fan of this series myself. Played the Gamecube games back when they came out, and recently again with the New Play Controls. Part way through Pikmin 2 right now. Really looking forward to 3 for the Wii U.

One thing I was wondering, is if anyone would know the best way I might be able to get ahold of a little bit of merchindise for not too much (my desk has sort of a Nintendo theme to it, sooo...). Anything from figures, music, whatever. Or the same Red Pikmin plush that Miyamoto had in his pocket during this past E3 .

For merchandise I say check online like Ebay or maybe google something like Pikman figures and see what comes up. You can probably just wait too and they might bring out a bunch of merchandise when the third game comes out as well.

I'd hope. Seems so hard to find that kind of stuff in the US, or at least in West Virginia.

You can find the plushes on ebay easily (including the one Miyamoto had). I have all 5 Pikmin plushes with flowers. You can find them fairly cheaply although for some reason, most on ebay don't seem to have their tags (IDK if that's a problem for you but it certainly is for me). Aside from that there are plush toys for Olimar, Louie, and a Bulborb but they are absurdly expensive and don't pop up too often. There are also figures from japan that can be found on ebay but they too are quite expensive. Just keep you eyes peeled on ebay when Pikmin 3 comes out. I'm sure there will be some merchandise (In Japan at least). Oh and that flower thing is neat! I'm telling my dad to get some Pikmin flowers and plant them in our yard

It took a new title in the Pikmin series(3 AND for the Wii U) as expected to actually grind up a solid Pikmin '2' disscusion on this site, otherwise barely anybody would be talking about it considering it was already released for the Cube, which always seems to be the case with anything 'old' on this site. Be it Resident Evil, Contra(that thread's been dead for close to 2 years now) ect ect. But the Pikmin 3 Wii U crazyness is in full force so I'm not suprised. . If you don't keep up with new releases on this site and then decide to post about that particular game later on in the thread it's based on...Well, by the time you do it's typically a groovy grave yard. If it aint 'new' it isn't work talking about, at least it's what i've noticed. But meh, i'm always late in the game with practically every new release haha.

The Mega Man thread you could say is kind of on life support. Guess the only way to rejuvinate it is for Capcom to unleash a new MM11, X9, Legends 3, just 'anything'. I've only played the first Pikmin, but yes it's possibly one o fthe GREATEST things ever in gaming.

As for the plushies, you can get them on ebay. I've got the red, yellow, purple and blue ones. Watch out for the cheap squishy looking ones. They tend to go for about $18 CAD each not including shipping.

Ya the Mega Man thread is barely alive and kickin....It seems to typically get drowned out by all of the other brilliant deep and rich topics like 'This and that' and 'What is your favorite(Insert) 'Toothe paste' lol I created a 'Everything Contra' thread in the Retro forum back in 2010, but i can't seem to find it.....

You could also try to track down Miyamoto and wrangle his away.
