GREAT news!! I can't wait to play it. My first experience with Pikim was the NPC on Wii. I always hoped that Pikmin 2 would show up, but I never thought it would actually happen.

Thanks for sharing!

Only rented this one for the Gamecube probably like 7 or 8 years ago, and really enjoyed it. Played Co op with my cousin. I think we beat it, but I honestly don't remember for sure now, cause I don't' remember the ending. Beat the first one years ago for the GC, but just beat the NPC version last summer. I guess this series is turning into a summer thing for me since this is coming out in June.
I do really wish Nintendo could give us real life Pikmin. I wonder how well they could clean the house..

About time. You poor guys...

So how's that Excitebots James? Oh wait... :p

I actually have Excitebots as I have a US Wii :P And yeah, to answer your question, it's not very good.

Really? I actually had a pretty good time with Excitebots. That is, if you're selecting one of the 'lighter' controlling bots like the Lady Bug or Bat for ex. The Wii titlting controls work very well in this game(On a lag free SDTV), better than Mario Kart Wii if you ask me. I think the main problem i had with the game aside from the grating annoying theme song that constantly loops and loops when you're waiting for an Online match to kick into gear would have to be the red bars The racing comes to a complete hault which i find pretty darn annoying...Even the stage selection/presentation is completely bare bones and lacking not to mention the locations themselves are lacking in variety. Anyways! I should try out the original ExciteTruck, but i can't imagine it being any better than Excitebots...But eh, i could be wrong. :p

I wish they would give us a little more Pikmin. I love the little references here and there, like when you transfer data from a DSi to a 3DS, Pikmin are shown carrying everything over. And the AR card with them on it.
I wish we would at least get maybe a smaller game we could download off of the eShop involving Pikmin.

So how much better is Pikmin 2 in comparison to the original? I loved that darn game, except for that wierd hazy motion/smearing effect. I guess that was intentional...:p Also, for a game like Pikmin running in 30fps, you'd think it would be packing better graphics! The Wii could of easily handled it at 60fps that's a gooney given! B-)

Anyways! The Power of Two and Pikmin 2 seem to be the only two Wii games worth checking out on the horizen that is until E3's suprise releases.
