I just ordered the game. Is it any good? I've got a feeling that it'll be either an amazing game, or just downright terrible. From what I've seen, the game does remind me a little of Earthbound.

Wow, this must be Opoona revival week. I just got a copy yesterday, based in part on that review, Sean. It sounds like the kind of quirky game that makes me overlook minor flaws. My only concern is the map system - nothing is quite as frustrating in gaming as wandering around with no idea where to go and it sounds like that could be an issue with Opoona.

I'm definitely going to play this game with a guide. I guess that's a must if you don't want to get hopelessly lost.

It's just the domes/cities interiors that are huge. (for atmosphere purposes, and tons of stuff to do)
But outside, on the planetsurface where the random battles occur, it's all very linear and straightforward.

Yeah and you do get a feel for where you're heading after awhile. I never needed a guide myself, but I will admit to making a wrong turn here and there. More explicit directions would have been nice, but having to look for landmarks and learn the domes made them more real places, too.

I didn't think it was good but weird thing is I didn't think it was bad, I think this is one game I can say I really felt meh >_> about.

I'm playing the game right now, it sure is confusing.. Anyway, does anyone know how to obtain the Rogue List? I know Jingle is the person you should receive it from, but I have no idea how to activate the event. If it's of any help; I just beat the first boss, and I'm on my way to Lifeborn.

I'm pretty sure you get told about stuff like that early before you can do anything about it. All will become clear in time, but it is confusing in the beginning because they're trying to put you in the shoes of the character.
