Never heard of it, Hulklol. And that's probably for the better...

I'm back with a shiny new 3DS, yay!

Oh, it's by Hudson? A party game produced by them without the Mario franchise to use is something to look into...

@hulklol: you may want to read over what the Scoring Policy has to say about a 7:

7 - Good

A seven is not average in our eyes. This game will sport a few areas where the game is blatantly let down to the detriment of its overall quality and enjoyment, but it is NOT average. A seven is still a recommendation, but you might want to consider what we thought let the game down and decide for yourself if it would bother you before buying.

You may not be happy with it getting a 7, but in no way is a that a negative score in and of itself.

@theblackdragon, ok ok, a 7 good, im just saying some people maybe are looking for other options! The game is by Hudson, the creators of the Mario Party franchise, why will it not be as good as, or better as Wii party?

You know im just sayng people that are not really happy with Wii Party, but want party game, to check these game out!

I've ordered this from Amazon and it shipped at the end of last week. Gamestop doesn't have it yet. I went for this over Wii Party because I like Hudson's party games in the past (ex: 50 Wacky Jobs) and I really like the $19.99 price tag compared to Wii Party at $49.99. I will provide impressions as soon as it arrives and I have had a chance to check it out.

You see, it is made by Hudson, the creators of the Mario party franchise, and its waaaay cheaper than Wii party!!!

So, maybe these IS the party game for the Wii everyone was waiting for!!!

Since when was a 7 bad?

Pff, if you're a Nintendo fan then there is only one option. I can't believe you're even asking about a game called Oops! Prank Party when there is a first party option just waiting for you. >_>

I didn't realize wii party came with a wiimote, but I don't need another remote... the name Oops Prank Party isn't great... but from the clips I have seen, it looks good.

So, I've had a chance to play it with my 6 year old and my 4 year old... and the bottom line is it is awful. gameplay options are limited. board game option is terrible with random coins or loss of coins on each space. No way to choose what type of game you get-- sometimes you will be stuck with minigames that are all luck (pull this rope and see who wins or pick a chair to sit in and see who wins). There is no way to change difficulty settings of the computer opponents. Board game option minimum of 30 turns is incredibly long. No way to save a game in the middle of it. Some minigames last 2 seconds. Difficulty is all over the board with the minigames from ridiculously easy to ridiculously hard. I could go on and on but won't bore you with the details of this stinker.

2 out of 10.

@InvisibleTune: Thanks for letting me know that... I was still on the fence between Oops and Wii Party. This helps a lot!

I'm stunned.

edit: I've had two nights so far with Wii-Party and friends, and both were awesome. There be some funny mini-games in there, buy it.
