What sort of masochist CHOOSES Rainbow Road?

It's practically unplayable and has just buggered up my score

I think the same thing every time I see someone pick that track!

I used to think that, too. Keep practicing; it's now one of my favorite tracks to play online, because you can count on so many other players to screw it up.

If you're new to the game, here's a great newbie tip: when playing Rainbow Road online, against players in the 4000-6000 VR bracket, you can count on about 50% of your opponents to fall off the track constantly. So if you just concentrate on NOT falling, and don't worry about speed just yet, you're more or less guaranteed to place respectably.

Super Circuit Rainbow Road is way better.

I always liked the original Rainbow Road.

Rainbow Road was awesome on every Mario Kart, except 64, which was just long and boring. I often used to pick Rainbow Road for MKWii and DS. I'm still waiting for a Mario Kart that has a Retro Cup featuring all the Rainbow Roads. I would pick that up in an instant. Maybe a Bowser's Castle Cup, too, as those are pretty darn awesome, too.

It's hard to say which Rainbow Road was the best. Super Circuit's was the most unique, and I liked it a lot. The original's is great. DS and Wii's Rainbow Roads are insane. I seem to remember Double Dash!!'s being pretty crazy, too, but not as much.

You hit the nail on the head. I hate Rainbow Road simply because I find it boring. However when playing online, yes simply keep yourself on the track and you should be guaranteed a top spot come finish. I've used this strategy several times and It's never failed me once.

It's not my favourite (I usually vote for SNES Ghost Valley), but It's a good track for separating the skilled from the not-so-skilled. Luigi Circuit and Yoshi Falls are the only tracks I dread during the vote.

It is a hard track when you first play it, but with a bit of practise, you should get the hang of it. The online scores should reflect how good you are as a player, so mastering Rainbow Road is a part of that (which I am yet to do!) And also, it is one of the best looking tracks I have seen in all of the Mario Karts!

I guess im that annoying person that always picks Rainbow Road! I love that course and can post amazing times on it. I think my best is something like 2 minutes, 52 seconds. It's hard at first but keep practicing and you'll get better with time. Also, i have a pretty sweet trick i like to pull out at the figure 8!

I pick Rainbow Road. What of it? I purposely pick RR when Mirror Mode is enabled just to tick people off because I know a lot of people aren't good at it and it wipes out half of the competition usually.

I mean sure I don't wanna play Rainbow Road three times in a row (happened before) as that's a bit much but I love playing it as I'm actually pretty good at it.

Yeah, what annoys me more are the people who pick the same course that has already been played, again and again!

That annoys me too. As much as i wouldn't mind playing Rainbow Road every time, i also bounce between Bowser's Castle and Coconut Mall. What really bothers me are the people who pick Grumble Volcanoe. I HATE that course!

I hate people who pick Luigi's circuit because anything can happen on that course!

I'll agree to that also. Picking the same course that was already played is plain goofy.

So what's everyones top 3 favorite courses for Mario Kart Wii?

1. Delphino Square
2. Coconut Mall
3. MapleTree (Highway I think isn't it)

I dislike most of the Wii tracks and I think they spoilt the SNES ones, so the tracks I like are mainly from the DS.

1. Peach Gardens
2. Delfino Square
3. Moo Moo Meadows
