Topic: No More Heroes European Censorship

I've been thinking about getting the game recently as I've seen it quite cheap but I heard that the European version is censored so it doesn't contain any blood in it. I then also saw somewhere else it wasn't. I just want to know if the game is/isn't censored in Europe.

I'm in England and when I kill someone with my Beam Katana, they explode into a shower of black pixels, it's awesome.

But get the game dude, it's super sweet and funny too. Check my sig, I'm re-visiting it now.

I think it looks better without the blood during gameplay. But cutsceens suffer without it. You can just youtube it afterward if your interested.

There is some blood in cutscenes where someone is impaled upon something. I was also concerned about this, but it actually is a great effect and I've seen the blood effects in video from the NA version and actually I don't like the look of it. I really wouldn't be concerned about that at all.

The sequel is apparently going to have blood and possibly not get a Japanese release at all as a result.

Well, IMO, yhe censorship isn't very important. I've read that the blood during the gameplay causes framerate slowdown ... :/ Anyway, you can Youtube the uncensored version as KoKoO_Psy said.

About Desperate Struggle, I've read that Erope will have two versions: the bloody and the non-bloody. Each country's publisher will decide which one is going to publish.

Hmmm, I wonder which version Germany will get?

i think we will get the "no-version-at-all"-Version.

Or you could buy it in England or another european country that has the bloody version

If they have an in-game option for it that would be cool; I can see removing that option for certain territories whose laws may restrict sales, though.
