@Mange: Damn! I got closer to you, but no cigar as yet. I reckon a really good time is possible if you get all the shortcuts, and a phat slice of luck. Golden and Mega mushrooms ftw, plus, you get the odd mushroom lying on the road, from AI players getting squished. Have you seen the worlds best time btw... 1 second... what a joke. Ninty need to start banning obvious cheaters pronto!

@Hoodtrix: Weekend and midweek races usually goes on for about 2 hours. just get in when you can. I wont today:(

Mine was a lucky run. Slipstream off the start, followed by a golden mushroom, then at least three mega mushrooms. And that was after numerous attempts.
