WHAT IS IT: Mario Kart Tournament! Series of 3 GPs. (Please only sign up if you plan to race all 3!)
SPECIAL RULES: None, this time. But try not to vote for courses we've already played.

Make sure you add MY FRIEND CODE, and leave yours on this thread as well. If there is a lot of interest, I'll host others in the future, with special rules or conditions to keep things lively.

To play, just connect to the internet via Mario Kart Wii a few minutes before the start time. When you see that I am online with an available room, select my avatar and choose the option to JOIN ROOM. The race will begin about 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, in case anyone shows up late.

Just wondering if there would be any interest among forum members to set up a Mario Kart Tournament. I used to run a few back when the game first came out, usually specifying certain conditions to keep the games interesting and get people out of their comfort zones. (Retro tracks only, race as your Mii, must be Koopa Troopa, or others...)

Would anyone be up for something like this? It'd have to be on a weekend, but I'll be happy to set it up.

Wow, I was just going to make sa topic like this. So I would love to. Just a thought, but how about a 500 wii point entry fee, to make it interesting? 80% of total could be gifted to first place, 2nd place 15%, 3rd place get their money back, whatever?

If that is a deal breaker, thats fine, I will play whatever the conditions.

I was thinking next Sunday might work best; is that good for everyone else? We'll do a series of 3 GPs, probably no crazy rules this time. (In the future though we'll do some fun ones. )

I agree, I do not want to turn others off either. We shall se how it goes, and go from there. I am no ringer, btw, but I can compete ok. And I am all for next Sunday, gives ppl a chance to make time for it.

Also, not that I'm in favour of the proposed betting system but how would you gift 500 points without having to convert stars, which NA doesn't have? It wouldn't work.

Let me know when and I'll most certainly try my best to be there. No way am I betting any Wii points though. I've too many times suffered from terrible "accidents" on this game that frusterated me to no end.
