Topic: New Wii channel ideas

It's been a while since we've had a new channel, and I was thinking of a new one that would be pretty cool: Wii Paint Channel. This is basically an update of Mario Paint, and with the Wii pointer it would be really nice, I think. It would be nice to have it as an upgrade to the photo channel or at least compatible with the Photo Channel

Thats pretty good, but more than a new channel, i would rather them focus on allowing channels to run in the background, like so you can pause your game and look something up on the internet channel or any other channel or more importantly run the wii speak channel in the background while playing online

I think multi-tasking is key for Nintendo's next home console - even for a future Wii system update if the hardware can take it. Apple have recently proven that if you're gonna do multi-tasking, you've gotta do it right, so I think this is important for Nintendo to note.

I don't know if anyone's tried finetune Wii, but I think that's pretty great and I'd really like to see something like this as a Wii channel. I doubt it could stream music from the internet due to copyright restriction, but the ability to take music from an SD card, or even to stream live from Windows Media Center, iTunes etc., would be brilliant.

I ALWAYS use Finetune and a Finetune Channel would be AWESOME!!!! Also a Facebook Channel ... or maybe even ... something like Playstation Home where you can get your Wii internet connected, pick a Mii and roam around a Virtual world with other Mii's controlled by other online users and it couod be compatible with Wii Speak microphone and you could chat with other Mii's

Like a Second Wii instead of Second Life, good idea. Can someone explain to me with finetune is and how do i get it i have never heard of it

But really, I think a Music channel would be cool, kinda like the DSi Sound app.

A music player channel needed.
A serious photo channel needed.
More character coding options for different languages needed. (Internet channel)
Flash support needed. (Internet channel)
Facebook channel needed.
Myspace channel needed. (especially for myspace MUSIC... so you can explore zillions of musicians some amateur some pro.)

ooh, I don't know how I didn't think of a music channel. That would be amazing, too.

That would require to proccesing systems. The wii only has 1.
Anyway. i think a good channel could be a music channel or a Politics channel that is pretty much a combo of the news channel and everybody votes channel. For example vote on the next president or something like that.

fine tune is an internet music player. it`s mainly a pc thing, but they do have a scaled down version that works well with the wii.

as for a music channel, that woukd be cool, especially if it worked where you could pick and play a whole bunch of music videos, just like MTV without the lame presenters.

I think that as a promotion for the new wii headset, they should make a wuhu island for EVERYONE to explore for free. You could talk to people, ride bikes and planes, swim, and maybe even do some races!

I'd like updated visuals to the VC channels so you can see the cartridge instead of the title screen.

I want a Netflix channel. The entire disk is only a few megabytes, and could be a wiiware channel if microsoft didn't get exclusive rights to making it a download (which is why the PS3 also needs a disk)
