Let them improve the channels we already have first, after that we can talk about other channels...

A video storage channel, you can organize videos and even create folders to sort them out even more.

You can rate games on the Nintendo Channel I believe.

Whilst not a channel per say, I'd like to see the SD Card Menu integrated into the normal Wii menu, instead of having two different menus. That is, extend the standard Wii menu to 20 pages, and display all the SD Card games on the same menu, perhaps with a small SD icon in the corner of each to show where it is. Load the titlecard (the fullscreen game titles after the icon is clicked on and before Start is pressed) as soon as the icon is clicked on, rather than just having them flash up for a second before the game starts, and perhaps keep it in memory so they can all be cycled through repeatedly after the first load. Maybe permanently store all the small menu icons in System memory so they load instantly rather than having to wait for the SD. I can't imagine them being large, likely all of them could be stored in one or two blocks.

If I'm online within the next couple of weeks tell me to get lost and do some coursework.

If not this, then the ability to go to the SD card Menu from the Home Menu.

I think there should be a channel that is more DSi compatible, like for Flipnote Studio where you can upload to the Wii. Just make the DSi and Wii work better together.

@ the SD card menu thing:
I hope IF they do it, it will be like this:
If the SD card is in your DSi there are simple more channels in the main channel menu. And if you remove the card the apps/games on the SD card simple disappear...

I think the reason why they don't add a DVD channel to the Wii is that playing Dual Layer DVDs (which most Video DVDs are) makes the laser die out faster (or at least I have heard that). And some Wii-drives have already problems with the laser right from the beginning which is noticeable in that Smash Bros. Brawl or Metroid Prime Trilogy can't be read.

I submit to the chamber my idea for a Nintendo Pizza Channel. That's right, you go to the pizza channel, order a pizza, and it pops out of the slot. If the DS can print money, the least my Wii can do is make pizza...
