Are there any plans for Nintendo to have more Wii Channels? Clearly there are more out there especially in regions other than NA. Wikipedia has all of them listed.
I wish we'd get the fortune telling one. I think goofy channels like Everybody Votes are the best type. News and Weather may seem practical, but I could just as easily access that info through the browser if I favorited weather.com and a news site.

They are separate channels that update and are more convenient and tolerable, and can be Parental locked. Take a look:
It's way more convenient and tolerable to have the Forecast Channel update your outlook and current temperature on the Wii Menu, and to be able to view that in a fun way for other places with the Globe and such.
With the 'News Channel' it even shows you headlines, and once tuned into that channel, pictures, articles, and categories, with fun Nintendo Wii touch.
Please understand that yes, you stating you want that other channel not in NA or EU, and possibly others, you must bring that goodness (keen-eye, taste-for-fortune) across all manner of conduct you portray to us. And that would mean your statement about the "News and Weather" is not really justifiable. Good day to you sir.
