Recently I purchased PC monitor Eizo Foris 2333, this converter http://www.i-tec.cz/index.php?t=3&v=186 and finally this cable http://www.evolve-europe.com/cz/d-hdmi-kabel-evolve-xxtremeco... .

I connect my Wii, thanks to the converter, to my monitor and I switch my monitor to HDMI mode, but no matter what I do I get no visual. I hear Wii main menu audio, but I simply cant get any picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, found out where the error was, tried to plug in the Wii with the HDMI convertor into my TV and it didnt work, when I tried using the usual means of connection I had audio and everything. Could anyone recommend to me better convertor or any means of how to enable connection between Wii and the Monitor?

Alright, fixed even that by changing Wii settings (While it was connected to TV) to 480i. But now, for the last question. When I have my Wii connected to my PC through all those means and HDMI cable, is it better to use 480i or 480p option in the menu? For some reason when I use 480p I get weird popping noises every few seconds.
