Topic: Help my wii has crashed. (the white ring of death)

So now it finally happened with a lot of problems with games crashing and now my wii has crashed. I am by no way a pirate and my wii does not have homebrew or has been chipped. The only thing I have been using was the freeloader but that was almost a year ago since the firmware stopped that from working. Am I the first one?

Any suggestion besides sending it to service and waiting for two weeks?

Warranty is the way to go...They pay for everything as long as it is covered...My Wii had a bad dvd drive...They paid for shipping and had it around 11 days...I also ended up with another year warranty...Better to send it in...If you void...You are out 250$...

My wii crashed after using the internet channel. Every time I go to turn it on now it says that the system files are currupted. I tried to boot it up in maintanence mode and reformat the memory but it didn't work. It was a launch system so my warranty is up and when I called nintendo they said it would be 85 dollars to fix. 'n blowss! Hopefully you can get yours to work.

I went to Nintendo Bergsala Sweden today and they fixed my wii while i was watching the nintendomuseum in the entrancehall. It took them 10 minutes to fix it for free. All save games are lost though and my wii was bought on release. God bless bergsala and nintendo.

Yikes. I wouldn't feel like unlocking everything on Brawl and Mario Kart again. At least it works though!

My son accidentally deleted my mariokart save a couple of months ago, haven't played it since. My only grief is that my 30 hours of kings story got deleted... Buy it Adam you will love it. It's quirky!

I am going to be out of town for the afternoon. I should be home around 7:30 Central US Time (about -6hrs GMT, I think). I have a meeting tomorrow afternoon, but should be home sooner. Thursday and Friday I should be home almost all day though, hooray! Whenever works best for you. I hope your main character doesn't need to be unlocked.

Oh, and thanks for the Little King recommendation. I don't get games before I try them anymore though unless it's a sequel I know I'll like. Got to wait for it to come to one of the rentals here first, but I will certainly try it eventually!

if you use any softwear that is not licenced by nintendo that means the company that made the stuff is a scam
