Topic: Morgan Webb bashes Super Mario Galaxy 2 for being "cartoony".

Hearing this made me a bit upset, and rather confused.

Morgan Webb has been putting her questionable legitimacy as a gamer girl under the microscope.

I watched Sessler's Soapbox the other day and Adam Sessler was praising the mechanics of Galaxy 2. I was blown away at how people were reacting to it.

Of course there would always be the one who would go against what fellow critics say and Morgan Webb did just that.

Remember when she claimed Ratchet and Clank was better than Mario Galaxy 1? Apparently, it's tradition for her to bash the sequel.

Anyways, post up your opinions here.

The argument portrayed from her last comment on Galaxy 1 on this site, will just be repeated.
So yeah she has a negative opinion on this year's best game and one of the best games ever made.

it's whatev'. i guess someone had to stand up and be all controversial by breaking up the flow; if she wanted to do it (provided it wasn't just people writing for her and putting words in her mouth), so be it.

Maybe it is because I do not get G4 and I am not used to her. But dang she sure has an annoying and awfully whiney voice. I could care less if she likes the game or not, thats her choice but how could G4 put that annoying voice on air ?

I loved Galaxy 1 but yeah, R&C: Tools of Destruction was just as good, if not better than Galaxy 1. Level design in both games are on par along with gameplay, while R&C:ToD did certain aspects better (story and, surprisingly, controls) and was far less repetitive than Galaxy (mainly because ToD successfully varied it styles of gameplay). I can't fault her for saying that and comparing those two. Her criticism of Galaxy 2 is stupid though.

I have noticed XPlay are Nintendo and Wii bashers. Even when they give a Wii game a high rating like a 5 they seem to say a lot of negative things about the game or act like they can't believe their giving a Wii game a 5, and they never really do that with Xbox and Playstation. Also they seem to put down the Wii a lot as if it's some kind of toy and the other systems are not. XPlay Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler, clearly have a unfair biased against Nintendo and the Wii. This is just my opinion of their commentary.
